Attorney Says ‘Thanks!’ To The Community
   Young Men Earn Money Through ‘Get It Straight’ Foundation

After a good day at work, these young men enjoyed a Thanks- giving lunch at Sweet Tomatoes with REACH UP Male Involvement Fatherhood Initiative. These are a few youths that work with Irene & Joe’s Tree and Lawn Care on Saturdays to earn money.
Tampa’s nationally rec- ognized civil rights lawyer, Warren Hope Dawson, recently made financial do- nations to several religious and educational organiza- tions in the Tampa Bay area. Among the organizations chosen by Atty. Dawson were:

Beulah Insitiutional Bap- tist Church, where Dr. W. James Favorite is the Pas- tor.

Edward Water College, where Dr. A. Zachary Fai- son is the President.
Mount Zion African Methodist Episcapol Church, Mulberry, where Rev. Bryant Fayson is the Pastor

The Tampa Bay Lightning Foundation was the source of the funds given to Atty. Dawson in recognition of his contributions as a: Noted civil rights lawyer, commu- nity advocate, organized bar leader and outstanding American. The Lightning recognized Atty. Dawson as a “Community Hero” and presented him with a check for $50,000.00, which in- turn was distributed by Atty. Dawson to the above named churches, educa- tional institutions and com- munity charites.
When asked to comment on these acts of benevolence, Atty. Dawson said, “I am faithful to my Christian up- bringing and grateful for the blessings realized through education.”
