   New Life Outreach Holds 29th Banquet

 On Friday November 2nd, New Life Outreach Ministry, Inc., held the 29th Annual Fundraising Banquet at Har- vest Assembly of God Church in Lakeland, Florida. Larry Mitchell is the founder and CEO of New Life Outreach Ministry of Polk County, Florida.
Larry Mitchell’s Outreach Program helps citizens that are: homeless, need assistance with substance abuse and men- tal health counseling. Larry Mitchell believes in “Serving The Least, The Last and The Lost.” The theme for the Ban- quet was “From Darkness To Light!”
Political and community leaders across Polk County at- tended the banquet. Among those in attendance were: Shandale Terrell, Jarvis Karim El-Amin, Veronica Rountree, Lorenzo Robin- son, Annie B. Phyall, John Ruffin, William Boss, Alex Harper, Phillip Walker, Larry Giddens, Katrina Lunsford, Tim Graddy, Reis James, Keith Conley, Nathaniel Hill, Gow Fields, Kay Fields, Bod Doyle and Brian Haas.
The event was a success, with over 500 citizens attend- ing the Fundraising Banquet.
 New Chairman Elected For Board Of Commissioners

On Tuesday, members of the Hillsborough County Board of Commissioners held their annual election. During the annual organizational meeting, board members se- lect its new leaders.
Commissioners chosen for the various positions will serve for the upcoming year. Com- missioner Lesley “Les” Miller, Jr., was chosen to serve as the Chairman.
Commissioner Pat Kemp was selected as Vice Chairman, and Commis- sioner Stacy White will serve as Chaplain.
Commissioner Ken Hagan, formerly Countywide District 5, was elected to serve District 2. Commissioner White, District 4, returned to his seat.
New to the Board are
Commissioner Mariella Smith, who won election to the Countywide District 5 seat, and Commissioner Kim- berly Overman, who repre- sents District 7.
Chairman Miller was elected to represent District 3 in 2010. He previously served as a member of the Florida Senate from 2000-2006, and a member of the Florida House

            Housing Authority Board Meeting
The regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the Housing Authority of the City of is scheduled for Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at 8:30 a. m. at the Administration Of- fices, 5301 West Cypress Street, Tampa Florida 33607.
Several meetings of the Board of Directors may take place immediately after the regular meeting.
All board meetings are open to the public.
Any person, who might wish to appeal any decision made by the Board of Commis- sioners, with respect to any matter considered at this meeting, is advised that he/she will need a record of the pro- ceedings; for such purpose, he/she may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings be made, which will include the testimony and evidence upon which the ap- peal is to be asked.
