Keisha Boyd, owner of Pickett PR Group and Black- intheBay.com, is bringing a little Kentucky flair to the Tampa Bay Area with the 4th Annual Derby Delight on Saturday, May 5th.
This year, organizers are partnering with Gabby Cares, Inc., a local non-profit
headed up by eight-year-old Gabby Lane. Proceeds will assist Gabby with her com- munity service efforts and upcoming father- daughter dance.
The event offers the com- munity a chance to showcase big hats, spring dresses, linen suits and fly brims for
the evening. The Derby De- light also features a live band, derby bites and spe- cialty drinks, including the signature mint julep.
Guests look forward to the fashion show where win- ners for “Best Hat” and “Most Debonair” are crowned.
The Derby Delight will be held at the Courtyard at 5508 (5508 N. 50th St., Tampa) from 3 p. m.-7 p. m. More information is available at www.blackinthebay.com.
“This is one of my favorite projects because it truly brings out so much creativ- ity,” says Boyd. “It is such a
fun time and we get to bless this young girl’s non-profit! Little Miss Gabby is awe- some and I am so happy to be connected with her ef- forts.”
The Derby Delight will have the race available for guests to watch and listen on Derby Day.
