  Google Teams With Beyonce To Give 4 More HBCU $25,000 Scholarships
 Following Beyoncé’s ex- plosive performance at week- end one of the Coachella Music and Arts Festival, the superstar announced that she will donate $25,000 to four HBCUs.
If you thought it ended there... Well you’re wrong. After weekend two of Coachella, Queen Bey an- nounced that with the help of Google, four additional HBCUs will receive $25,000 scholarships!
According to a press re- lease, Google.org – the chari- table arm of the tech company – matched Bey’s original $100,000 donation to award four more lucky students with scholarships for the 2018- 2019 school year.
The schools include; Texas Southern University, Fisk University, Grambling State University, and Morehouse College.
Now, a total of eight schools will receive the Homecoming
Beyonce was the first female to headline Coachella, and gave a performance promoting HBCU and Black culture.
  Scholars Award Program for the 2018-2019 academic school year, including Wilber- force University, Xavier Uni- versity of Louisiana, Tuskegee University and Bethune- Cookman University.
The Homecoming Scholars Award Program for 2018- 2019 will expand to qualifying regardless of gender. The ma- jors include creative arts, African-American studies, lit-
erature, science, education, business, communications, social sciences, computer sci- ence and engineering. All ap- plicants must maintain a 3.5 GPA.
All applicants for The Homecoming Scholars Award Program for 2018-2019 will be selected by the universities and will be announced this summer.
 Bill Cosby Guilty On All Three Counts
 Norristown, Pennsylvania- The jury in the Bill Cosby indecent assault trial has reached a verdict, according to media reports.
The panel began deliberat- ing Wednesday around 11 a.m.
Cosby faces three counts of aggravated indecent assault. He is on trial for allegedly drugging and sexually as- saulting Andrea Constand in 2004. The 80-year-old for- mer comedian faces up to 10 years in prison on each count, but would likely serve them concurrently.

    New Music By Prince Set For September Release
 It’s the vault that keeps on giving.
An album of previously-un- released material from Prince will be released on Sept. 28, according to Variety.
It’s the latest in a ton of new material put out by Prince’s estate, including the previ- ously unreleased original ver- sion of “Nothing Compares 2 U” and an accompanying video of amazing rehearsal footage.
Two new websites have also been established – one a deep dive into his discography in- cluding rare photos, videos and loads of information; the other a site where fans can share their memories called “Prince2me.”
