 Tracy Morgan’s ‘The Last O.G’ Renewed For Second Season; Has 25 Million Viewers

  Meek Mill is finally free! After spending nearly five months out of his two-to- four- year sentence in prison.
A judge in a Philadelphia court ruled that Meek - born Robert Rihmeek Williams - be released after it was discov- ered that the officer who ar- rested the rapper in 2007 "was on a secret DA's list of allegedly corrupt cops.
The Supreme Court overruled Philadelphia Judge Grenece Brinkley who denied the rap- per bail last week after refusing to dispose of the conviction.

Meek Mill walked onto the court at the Wells Fargo Center wearing a Joel Embiid jersey with fellow Philly native, star, Kevin Hart by his side and the crowd erupted into cheers for several moments. Before the
game, the players took the floor to Meek's "Ima Boss" as he shook-hands with fans and sup- porters courtside.
In November 2017, Meek was sentenced to two to four years in prison by Judge Brinkley for a probation violation, and was jailed immediately.
   The graduates from Howard University will be in for a treat! It has been confirmed that Black Panther star, Chadwick Boseman will return to his alma mater to deliver the 2018 commencement address.
On Wednesday (April 18), the university announced that Boseman will give the keynote address at Howard’s 150th commencement ceremony on May 12th.
‘Black Panther’ star Chad- wick Boseman aka King T’Challa will be the commence- ment speaker at his alma mater, Howard University on May 12th.
Boseman, who graduated from Howard in 2000 with a bachelor of fine arts degree in theater, is also expected to re- ceive an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters, the univer- sity’s highest honor.
“I’m excited to return to the Mecca in celebration of the achievements of our illustrious students,” Boseman said. “Let’s listen, learn and build with one another.”

TBS has renewed The Last O.G. starring Tracy Morgan and Tiffany Haddish, for a second season.
The season premiere of The Last O.G. marked TBS’ biggest cable comedy premiere since 2015 and is 2018’s top cable comedy show. The series, exec- utive produced by Jordan Peele, has so far reached a multiplatform audience of nearly 25 million viewers.
“I would like to thank God, my family, the fans and TBS and everyone that has been
given a second chance. We love you!!!” said Morgan.
The Last O.G. centers on Tray (Morgan), an ex-con re- leased from a 15-year prison stint to a changed and unfamil- iar world. Returning to his newly gentrified Brooklyn neighborhood, Tray discovers that his former girlfriend Shay (Haddish) is married to an- other man and has been raising Tray’s twins, who he never knew existed. The series is ex- ecutive produced by Tracy Morgan, Jordan Peele.

Time Magazine has finally revealed its annual list of 100 most influential people in the world Thursday with Chad- wick Boseman and Tiffany Haddish both being featured on the list.
This year’s list includes record-breaking numbers of 45 women and 45 people under the age of 40.
Time’s Editor-in-Chief Ed- ward Felsenthal wrote in a
letter to USA Today, “The TIME 100, always a re- flection of its moment, looks quite different than in the past. Influence increasingly knows no single zip code and no minimum age.”
Also making the list were: ‘Black Panther’ director, Ryan Coogler, Cardi B, Sterling K. Brown, Ri- hanna, and Maxine Wa- ters.
