AIKENS
MRS. MARY L. GLOVER
A Homegoing Celebration for Mary L. Glover who went home to be with the Lord on April 2, 2019, will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at 11 a. m. at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Pastor Lennox Zamore, of- ficiating. The internment will follow at Myrtle Hill Memorial Park Cemetery, 4207 E. Lake Ave., Tampa, Florida.
Mary entered this world on No- vember 6, 1933 in Monticello, Florida, she was the first of seven children born to Eugene and Clara Hill. She attended school in Jefferson County, Florida, before moving to Tampa in the early 1950s, where she was a lifelong resident.
A skilled seamstress, she worked in the garment industry for years before retiring to finish raising her family of five chil- dren. In addition to making all of her children’s school clothes, she made many beautiful garments, including lingerie, for family and friends.
She was an avid gardener, a skill she acquired while growing up on her parent’s farm and often produced bumper crops of collard greens, mustard greens, okra and tomatoes. She was af- fectionately called “Miss Mary” by a host of family and friends for whom she shared her consid- erable wisdom and mother wit. She loved family gatherings where lots of food and laughter were abundant.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Rosalyn Y. Harri- son.
She will be loved and forever missed by: her children, Sylvia L. Adams (Eddie, Jr.), Felicia M. Glover, Anthony L. Glover and Sharaine L. Glover; grandchil- dren, Rashad Hines (Sharanda), Ashley Y. Franks and Kenneth A. Glover; great-grandchild, Kalia R. Franks; brother, Henry Hill of Irvington, New Jersey; sister, Doreatha Johnson (Jack, Sr.) of East Orange, New Jersey; nieces, Tracy Hill, Keisha Hill Buckley, Chandra Major and Sabrina Hill Baskin; cousins, Gail Broxie, Sharon Seabrooks, Kimberly Turner and Sylvester Simmons; sisters-in-law, Mary Lois Hill and Viola Hill; friends, Ollie Par- rish, Archie May Seabrooks, Ida Mae Jenkins, Alberta Pyron, Mary Thomas Gano, Lucile Greenwood, Doris Watkins and Carrie Walker; and son-in-law, Horace Harrison.
The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, April 12th from 5 to 7 p. m. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p. m.

MRS. LILLIAN IRENE ALEXANDER
Mrs. Lillian Irene Alexan- der of Tampa passed away Monday, April 1, 2019. Funeral services will be conducted Sat- urday, April 13, at 2 p. m. at New Smyrna Full Gospel Church, 5015 N. 17th Street, with Elder Enrique Brooks, of- ficiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park.
Mrs. Lillian Irene Alexan- der was a native of Miami, Florida and a resident of Tampa for 32 years.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, John Jenkins Noles and Pearlie Mae Blount Noles; daughter, Amanda L. Noles; three brothers, Charlie Noles, John Jenkins Noles, Jr. and Danny Noles.
Lillian leaves to cherish her memory: her husband, Tommie L. Alexander of Tampa, FL; four children, Cur- tis L. Noles (Shangria) of Georgia, Cordeia L. Under- wood, Shaunte Washington (Cedric) and Johnny A.          MOTHER MARY ELIZABETH MORRIS
A Homegoing Celebration for Mother Mary Elizabeth Morris of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Monday, April 8, 2019, will be held on Saturday, April 13th, 2 p. m., Triumph Church and Kingdom Of God, 2617 E. 24th Avenue, Elder Joseph Gloster, officiating. The inter- ment will be in Lighthouse Me- morial Gardens Cemetery in Grand Bay, Alabama.
Mary Elizabeth Morris was born on February 8, 1927 to the late Willie and Ruby Braxville Williams in Sanford, Florida. Mary attended Hopper Academy in Seminole County in her early years, but later moved to Tampa, Florida in 1939 and completed her education graduating from Middleton Senior High School in June 1945. She was a resident of Fort Lauderdale, Florida for many years before returning to Tampa, Florida in 1990.
Her life-long career was in upholstery and as a seamstress. She was always very passionate about her work and took great pride in her finished products.
Mother Mary was a born again Christian joining the body of Christ at an early age and was a faithful and devoted member of Triumph the Church and King- dom of God in Christ, where she served as a Shepherd Mother. Her passion was her church, where she served faithfully until her health began to fail.
She was preceded in death by her parents; children, Faye Burgess, Paulette Patterson, Ronald and Willie James Morris;
MR. LEO EUGENE THOMAS
A Memorial Service for Mr. Leo Eugene Thomas of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Sun- day, April 7, 2019, will be held Sat- urday, April 13th, 1 p. m. at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Wit- nesses, 1901 E. Giddens Ave., Brother, Eric Atterberry, officiat- ing.
Leo Eugene Thomas was born August 3, 1953, to Harry Lee and Eva Mae Thomas. Leo attended the public schools of Hillsborough County. He graduated from Mid- dleton High School, class of 1971, where he was an excellent defen- sive-end linebacker for the Fight- ing Tigers. His “aka” on the football field was “Mole Man.” His favorite scripture was Luke 23:43. Leo touched many lives every- where he went. He was one of Tampa Bay’s finest golfers at Rogers Park.
Leo was married to his wife, Judi for 26 years they married on December 19, 1992. They dedi- cated their lives to Jehovah on Au- gust 23, 1998. To their union 2 daughters were born.
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Sally and Ricky Thomas, daughter, Leon- aisha Thomas and daughter-in- law, Jasmine Gosa.
Leo leaves to cherish his pre- cious memories with: his loving and devoted wife, Judi L.
