RAY WILLIAMS
MR. ALONZO COLEMAN
Mr. Alonzo Coleman, better known as “Fruit-Daddy” of Tampa, passed away Sunday, March 31, 2019 with his wife and family at his bedside. Fu- neral services will be conducted Saturday, April 13 at 2 p. m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, with Reverend Matthew L. Harris, Jr., officiating.
Mr. Alonzo Coleman, was a native and lifelong resident of Tampa and was educated in the public schools of Hillsborough County. He was the 13th child of Reverend D. C. Coleman and Alice Longworth Coleman, who preceded him. He was also pre- ceded in death by five brothers and three sisters.
He leaves to cherish his mem- ories: his loving wife of 21 years, Mary; one daughter, Fran Cole; three stepdaughters, Christina, Kaylan and Idella Barber; three stepsons, William, Reggi, and Walter Barber; two sisters, Alice Diggs and Ella Thompson (Doyle); three brothers, Harry Coleman, Leonard Coleman (Johnnie Mae) and Ulysses Coleman; children he raised, Iris, Daphen, Vince and Fred; 16 grandchildren; 6 great-grand- children; special granddaugh- ter, Talissa Marshall; three brothers-in-law; six sisters-in- law; a host of nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
The visitation for Mr. Alonzo Coleman will be held Friday, April12from5-8p.m.atRay Williams Funeral Home and the family will be present from 6 to 7 p. m.

CHARLES SIMMONS, JR.
Mr. Earl Charles Simmons, Jr. of Tampa, passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2019. Fu- neral services will be con- ducted Saturday, April 13 at 11 a. m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa. Interment will follow in Lang Cemetery, Brooksville, Florida.
Mr. Earl Charles Simmons, Jr. was a native and lifelong resident of Tampa, Florida. He was educated in the public schools of Hillsborough County and was a graduate of H. B. Plant High School. Mr. Sim- mons was employed by Pepsi Cola.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Earl Charles Simmons, Sr. and Melvouise Jackson Simmons.
He leaves to cherish his memory: wife, Karen Sim- mons; children, Tia Allen (Joseph), Nahshon Simmons, Deatrick Frederick, Calvin Sir- mons, Jr., Antwon Royal and Rashad Powell; grandchildren, AariontaeBrown,TiaraBrown, Re’Jai Anderson, Altorian Salary, Deatrick Fredericks, Jr., Antwon, Jr., Javon and Avery Royal and Keyon Powell; great-grandchildren, Jakobi Desroches; sister, Jernice Gandy (Robert); brothers, Arthur Chester, Sr. and George Chester; nieces, Sammeca Mitchell, Jernice Mitchell and Keanna Chester; nephews, William Lanier, Jerreece Mitchell (Darline) and Arthur Chester, Jr.; aunts and uncles, Jackie Lewis (James), Evelyn Henderson, Margaret Ross, Harriet Watkins, Alice Holden, Leon Chester, Sr. (Yun) and Eric Chester; best friend, Alger- non “Slug” Belin (Connie); and a host of other relatives and friends.

ELDER CURTIS G. WILLIAMS, SR.
Elder Curtis G. Williams, Sr. of Tampa, passed away Satur- day, March 30, 2019. Funeral services will be conducted Satur- day, April 13 at 2 p. m. at Greater New Salem Primitive Baptist Church, 1605 N. Nebraska Av- enue, Reverend Benjamin Curry, Pastor with Bishop Michelle B. Patty, officiating. In- terment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Curtis Williams was a native and lifelong resident of Tampa, Florida. He was edu- cated in the public schools of Hillsborough County, graduat- ing from Hillsborough High School. He furthered his educa- tion at Hillsborough Community College where he earned an As- sociate of Arts degree in Busi- ness Administration and Management, and an Associates in Science degree in Sociology. Elder Williams was the founding member and Pastor of Joyful Noise Holiness Tabernacle of Jesus Christ, where he served as Pastor for 26 years.
He was preceded in death by: his mother, Barbara J. Lewis Williams; daughter, Evelyn C. Williams; and brother, Grady Williams, Jr.
He leaves to cherish loving memories of him with: his loving wife of 9 years, Shari D. Williams; three sons, Curtis G. Williams, Jr., Titus Williams (Tracy), and Samuel M. Williams (Aquandra); father, Grady Williams, Sr. (Iversteen); brothers, Al Grady Williams (Regina), Derrick Williams (Lenora), Eric Williams (Debra), Dwayne Williams (Mildred), Norman Hayes (Janae), Michael Tad Williams, Andre Williams, Michael Williams, Mark Williams, and Darryl Williams; sisters, Taiwana Jenkins and Amber Williams; nine grand- children; one great grand; a host of uncles, aunts cousins, nieces and nephews.
The remains will repose after 5 p. m. Friday, April 12 at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue.

MR. ROOSEVELT THOMAS, JR.
Funeral service for Mr. Roo- sevelt Thomas, Jr., who passed away on Monday, April 8, 2019, will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2019, at 11 a. m., at Tampa Life Church, 10930 U. S. N. US 301, Thonotosassa, FL, Pastor Tisdale with Pastor Willie Richardson, Sr., officiating. In- terment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens, Thonoto- sassa, Florida.
Mr. Roosevelt Thomas, Jr., was born on August 30, 1963 in Douglas, Georgia, to the parent- age of Roosevelt Thomas, Sr. and Ella Thomas. “Tweety,” as he was affectionately known, was a resident of Thonotosassa, FL for over 50 years. He at- tended the public schools of Hillsborough County and grad- uated from C. Leon King High School. He enjoyed fishing and hanging out with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by: his grandfathers, Samuel Lee Harris, Sr., and Henry Thomas; grandmother, Fannie Mae Thomas; father, Roosevelt Thomas, Sr.; daughter, Angel Thomas; uncles, Willis Harris, Sammie Harris, Sr., Allen Har- ris, Nathaniel Thomas, James Thomas and Eddie Lee Thomas.

Mother Carrie Mae Levins of Wimauma, FL, passed away Monday, April 8, 2019. Fu- neral services will be con- ducted Saturday, April 13, 2019 at 11 a. m. at First Prospect Mis- sionary Baptist Church, with Reverend Samuel E. Badger of- ficiating. Interment will follow in Wimauma Community Cemetery.
Mother Levins was a native of Ellenton, Florida, a resident of Wimauma, FL, and was a member of First Prospect Mis- sionary Baptist Church. She was a retired Head Custodian at Wimauma Elementary School with approximately fifty years of service.
She leaves to cherish her memory: three sons, James Haskell Stephens, III, Joseph William Harrell, Jr., and Clif- ford Muldrow; and special daughter, Rosa Stephens; six- teen grandchildren; thirty- seven great grandchildren; ten great, great grandchildren; one brother-in-law, James M. Berrien; two sisters-in-law, Ora Levins and Doretha Levins; special granddaughter, TeShanna Sanders; special daughter-in-law, Judy Stephens; special nieces, Hazel Jackson and Inell Berrien; nu- merous nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.
