  Memoriam
BIRTHDAY MEMORIAM
DEACON CURTIS MARSHALL
Happy Birthday to our dad, Deacon Curtis Marshall. Gone, but never forgotten.
Death leaves a HEARTACHE no one can HEAL; love leaves a MEMORY no one can STEAL.
Dad, your guiding hand on our shoulder will remain with US forever; keep fishing, dad, We Miss You So Much!
We often sit and think about the years (almost 10), that have passed by and of the happiness and joy that was shared by you and I. I think of all the laughter, the smiles, and all the fun we used to have AS a FAMILY. The tears have once again begun to fall; al- though it brings US comfort to walk down memory lane, it re- minds US how, without you, Life has never been the same.
P. S. MRS. FINE!!! Is losing her MIND LOL. Momma, we love you always.
  O’Jays Co-Founder William Isles Dead At 78
William Carvan Isles II, an original member of R&B vocal greats The O'Jays.
O’Jays co-founder William Carvan Isles II, better known as Bill Isles, died last month from cancer in his Southern California home, the Los Angeles Times reports.
Isles's son Duane says that he was surrounded by family members at the time of his passing. He was 78.
Before landing on their now iconic stage name, the
O’Jays, following a sugges- tion from Cleveland DJ Eddie O’Jay in 1963, the group previously experi- mented with other names, like The Mascots and The Triumphs. Their times as the O’Jays coincided with upward trajectory of their ca- reer, spawning hits like "Lip- stick Traces" and "Lonely Drifter," which came when Isles was a member of the
National
group.
In 1965, Isles left the O'-
Jays, and married his wife of 52 years, Laurel.
According to Duane, Bill returned to the group in 1971 to be their tour manager until 1974. It was during this time that the O'Jays scored some of their biggest hits, in- cluding "Back Stabbers," "Love Train," and "For the Love of Money."

  Woman Screamed 'You
Broke My Heart' While
Shooting Pastor, His Wife
"You broke my heart." Those are the final words po- lice say Latoshia Daniels told Brodes Perry before shooting him several times.
According to police, offi- cers were called to the Merid- ian Place Apartments in Collierville on Thursday after receiving calls from residents stating they had heard multi- ple gunshots and screams.
When they arrived they found Brodes Perry, execu- tive pastor at Mississippi Boulevard Christian Church, and his wife suffering from gunshot wounds.
Authorities said the shooter, Latoshia Daniels, was still armed and refused to put down the gun.
The female victim told po- lice Daniels showed up at her home unexpectedly the night of the shooting. Having known her from her time liv- ing in Little Rock, she agreed to let her inside the home.
She was escorting Daniels back out when the
LATOSHIA DANIELS AND BRODES PERRY
suspect pulled a handgun and started shooting, screaming "You broke my heart" at the husband, according to a court affidavit.
Both victims were taken to the Regional Medical Center where Brodes Perry later died.
While at the hospital, po- lice said Daniels also at- tacked an officer. Police said the officer was trying to take her into custody and that's when she jerked away and shoved him before taking off running. Officers said they had to force her to the ground before they could get her handcuffed.
