TAMPA-HILLSBOROUGH EXPRESSWAY AUTHORITY EXPANDED LETTER OF INTEREST P-00819 MISCELLANEOUS PLANNING & TRAFFIC SERVICES
Tampa-Hillsborough County Expressway Authority (THEA) is soliciting Expanded Letter of Interest (ELOI) from qualified firms in providing miscellaneous planning and traffic services to the THEA on an as-needed basis.
Services to be provided by the selected firm(s) may include, but are not limited to, the following FDOT pre-qualified services: Appraisal Services; Architecture; Control Surveying; Design, Right of Way, & Construction Surveying; Land Planning/Engineering; Landscape Architecture; Policy Planning; Project Development & Environment (PD&E) Studies; Subarea/Corridor Planning; Systems Planning; Traffic Signalization; Traffic Engineering Studies(includes data collection); and Transportation Statistics.
The complete ELOI Instructions and Submittal Documents are available through the DemandStar System (www.demandstar.com) or through an email request to Man.Le@tampa-xway.com. FIRMS THAT OBTAIN THE ELOI INSTRUCTIONS AND SUBMITTAL DOCUMENTS FROM SOURCES OTHER THAN DEMANDSTAR OR THEA ARE CAUTIONED THAT THE DOCUMENTS MAY BE INCOMPLETE.
Interested firms shall submit a completed ELOI response to the Authority, 1104 East Twiggs Street, Suite 300, 3rd Floor, Tampa, Florida 33602. Responses are due by May 14, 2019, by 2:00 p.m. at which time all proposals received will be publicly opened. Firms failing to submit the required documents as outlined within the ELOI Instructions and Submittal Documents may be deemed non-responsive to the ELOI. THEA strongly encourages the solicitation and utilization of SBE firms and requires nondiscrimination on the basis of race, color, sex and national origin in its contracting practices.

Services to be provided by the selected firm(s) may include, but are not limited to, the following; Emerging technology; Connected Vehicle; Automated/Autonomous Vehicle; ITS and Smart Traffic Management; Mobility as a Service or Mobility on Demand; Smart Infrastructure and Applications; and Data Analytics and Financial Strategies.
