Week Of Early Voting Set To Begin On Sunday

Beginning on Sunday, April 14th, members of the community will re- turn to the election polls to participate in the Early Voting opportunity for the upcoming runoff election for the City of Tampa.
Early Voting will end on Saturday, April 20, 2019. The Election will take place for Tuesday, April 23, 2019.
During a runoff election citizens will be called upon to choose between Jane Castor and David Straz as
the next Mayor for the city of Tampa. They will also be called upon to elect three members of the City Coun- cil. Those candidates are: District 1, Joseph Citro versus Walter Smith, II; District 3, John Dingfelder takes on Stephen Lytle; and in the District 5 race, Jef- frey Rhodes competes against Or-
lando Gudes.
Unlike the General Election last year, voters only had one week to cast ballots at any one of the seven desig- nated sites. Those who have not voted by mail or who did not participate in

Early Voting will be required to vote on Tuesday, April 23rd, at their as- signed precincts.
Early Voting Locations
Residents can cast ballots at any one of the seven Early Voting loca- tions within the City limits between the hours of 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.
The locations are:
Cyrus Greene Center, 2101 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.;
New Tampa Regional Li- brary, 10001 Cross Creek Blvd.;
Robert L. Gilder Elections Service Center, 2514 N. Falkenburg Rd.;
Fred B. Karl County Center, 601 E. Kennedy Blvd., Lobby;
North Tampa Branch Library, 8916 North Boule- vard;
West Tampa Branch Library, 2312 West Union
St.; and
Jan Kaminis Platt Regional Library, 3910 S. Manhattan Ave.
What To Bring
Voters who decide to wait and vote on the day of the election will be re- quired to provide one or two forms of identification. Acceptable identifica- tion includes: Florida Driver’s+ Li- cense; Florida ID Card issued by the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles; U. S. Passport; Debit or Credit Card; Military ID; Student ID; Retirement Center ID; Neighbor- hood Association ID; Public Assis- tance ID; or Veteran Health ID (issued by VA).
You may also use your Concealed Weapon License (issued pursuant to s. 790.06); or Government Employee ID.
If your photo ID does not in- clude your signature, you will be asked to provide another ID that has your signature.
Individuals without proper identi- fication may still vote a provisional ballot, which will later be evaluated by a canvassing board for eligibility.
