IN MEMORY OF
HENRY “SONNY” HOLTON
It seems like yesterday, but four years have passed. Gone, but not forgotten.
The Family.
IN MEMORY OF
JOHARA SIMPSON Gone Too Soon
It’s been a year since you left, but it feels like yesterday. Some days, I just sit and re- member; missing you so much.

MR. LEON JONES
Homegoing Services for Mr. Leon Harvey Jones, who went home to be with the Lord on April 14, 2019, will be held on Tuesday, April 23, 2019, at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, 3005 Ellicott St., Tampa, Florida, at 10 a. m.
The visitation will be held at Harmon Funeral Home on Monday, April 22nd from 5-8 p. m. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p. m.
Born in Tampa, on July 15, 1949, Leon was the youngest of 9 children born to the late James Edward Claude Jones and Flossie Mae Jones.
Harvey (as he was affec- tionately called) attended vari- ous public schools in Hillsborough County in his early years, then later joined the United States Marine Corps, serving in the Vietnam War.
In 1985, he married Ofelia Taitt. From their union two children were born, Rashida (Jones) Smith and Joshua Jones. As a resident of Brook- lyn, NY for many years, he was employed by the U. S. Postal Service before returning to Tampa, in 1992 where he lived the remainder of his life.
Over several years, Harvey developed a hobby for painting, which would later become his life long career. He was very passionate about his work and took great pride in the finished product. He always saw the bright side of things in the bleakest of situations.
Harvey will be deeply missed by all who know and loved him. We will cherish and reflect upon each memory.
Harvey departed this life on April 14, 2019.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his daughter, Rashida Smith (Stanley) and his son, Joshua Jones; and two grand- children, Autumn and Stanley, Jr.; his living siblings, Albert L. Wilson, Sr., Gwen Mitchell, Nathaniel Jones, Theodore Jones, Charles H. Jones, Sr. and a host of nieces and nephews.
