The Tampa Metropolitan Section of the National Coun- cil of Negro Women (NCNW) will host their 46th annual Bethune-Height Luncheon to be held on Saturday, May 4, 2019, 11 a. m. at the Embassy Suites by Hilton, 10220 Palm River Road, Tampa, FL 33619.
During the luncheon four outstanding citizens of the community who have dedi- cated their time of service to the community will be recog- nized. Honorees are: Dayle Greene, Rev. Dr. Patricia Hauser, Lucille Morris and Harriet Scott.
The Electa D. Davis Schol- arship of $1,000 will be awarded to three graduating high school seniors. Recogni- tion will be given to Life Legacy Member Lucille Morris, sponsors and sup- porters of the NCNW.
The theme for this year is “Fortified by the Past...Fo- cused on the Future.” The emcee is Rosa Webster, and the Keynote Speaker is Chloe Coney. Janice Nunn-Nelson is the musical voice of the hour and fashions from the house of Ann Fa- vorite’s Boutique.
NCNW continues to Lift the Legacy in love and respect for each other as we honor Dr. Dorothy I. Height in wearing our hats.

The mission of NCNW is to lead, develop, and advocate for women of African descent as they support their families and communities. The 46th annual Bethune-Height Luncheon promises to be a grand time of fellowship and entertainment.
