 R. Kelly Tearfully Denies All Sex Abuse Allegations In 1st Interview Since Arrest
CBS This Morning has just announced an in-depth inter- view with R. Kelly will air on Wednesday (March 6).
In a tweet from CBS Evening News, the news out- let confirmed the disgraced R&B star recently sat down with Gayle King for his first interview since his arrest last month. Unsurprisingly, a tearful Kelly denies all sex- ual abuse allegations.
“I sit here and say this, I had two cases back then that I said in the beginning of the interview that I will not talk about because of my ongoing case now,” he says in the first clip. “People are going back to my past and trying to add all of this stuff now to that. To make all of this stuff that’s going on now feel real to peo- ple.”
When King suggests his past is relevant, Kelly quickly replies with, “Ab- solutely no it’s not. For one, I beat my case. It’s not fair to
R. KELLY
nobody. When you beat your case, you beat your case.”
Throughout the two clips, he continues to deny having sex with underage girls de- spite his recent 10-count in- dictment.
“Not true,” he says. “Old rumors, new rumors, future rumors. Not true.”
In the second clip, Kelly is noticeably more agitated and emotional.
“I don’t need to [hold girls against their will],” he says.
“Why would I? How stupid would that be for R. Kelly, with all I’ve been through in my way, way past, to hold somebody ... how stupid would I be to do that? That’s stupid guys. That’s stupid. Use your common sense. For- get the blogs. Forgot how you feel about me.
“Hate me if you want to. Love me if you want to. Just use your common sense. How stupid would it be for me with my crazy past and what I’ve been though? Oh, right now I just think I need to be a mon- ster and hold girls against their will, chain them up in my basement and don’t let them eat, don’t let them out unless they need some shoes down the street from their uncle. Stop it. Y’all quit play- ing. I didn’t do this stuff. This is not me. I’m fighting for my fu*&ing life.”
The full interview aired on Wednesday morning (March 6)at7a.m.ET.

We’re approaching peak Lizzo. There’s no question that the 30-year-old has been on a roll of late. The colorful video for her latest single “Juice” has amassed 4.8 mil- lion views on YouTube al- ready, and her upcoming third album Cuz I Love You is one of the more hotly antici- pated rap releases of the year. Future Facing Legal Action For Allegedly Banning ‘Fatties’ From The Club
The plus-size model who accused Future of enacting a “no fatties” rule at a Miami club is reportedly taking legal action. According to Buzz- feed, Montreal native Naomie Chaput was in Miami for a photo shoot when she attempted to at- tend the Future event.
Her publicist Daniel Bouabdo said they were es- sentially told it would be a waste of time.
“She was on her way there and they were in contact with the promoter who had arranged for them to go to
FUTURE
the club,” Bouabdo said. “[The promotor said] don’t even bother coming. Future asked for no fatties.”
Following the alleged in- cident, Chaput went on a so- cial media tirade and was in disbelief she was discrimi- nated against because of her size.

Future appeared to ad- dress the situation on Twit- ter, seemingly denying he ever issued a “no fatties” di- rective to the Miami promot- ers.
“STOP CAPPIN ON MY NAME,” he tweeted on Fri- day (March 1). “I love all women.”
Fat Joe, Remy Ma And French Montana Are Being Sued For ‘All The Way Up’
In 2016, the rapper Fat Joe ex- perienced somewhat of a late-ca- reer renaissance. That year, the Bronx-native headlined Hot 97’s Summer Jam, performed at the BET Awards, and was a radio fix- ture. This resurgence in relevance was due in large part to the im- mense popularity of “All the Way Up,” the lead single off Plata o Plomo his collaborative album with fellow Bronx rapper Remy Ma. The song propelled the pair from permanent relegation to hip- hop nostalgia playlists to the con- temporary mainstream. Now, it seems, the origins of the hit are being called into question.
According to reports obtained by TMZ, a Miami-based rapper
FAT JOE AND REMY MA
named Erik A. Elliot (aka Fly Havana) is suing Fat Joe, Remy Ma, and featured artist French Montana. Elliot claims that laid down and unfinished ver- sion of the song with the track’s producer Infrared in 2015. He said, he never gave Fat Joe and
company permission to use the track and was shocked when their version of the song premiered the following spring.
According to Elliot, he con- tacted Joe about the alleged unauthorized use of his song, and that Joe actually delivered a check for $5,000 in an IHOP in March of 2016, promising future, additional compensation. However, Elliot claims that compensation never came, and now he is suing to get co-writing credit for the track and other damages.
“All the Way Up” climbed as high as number 27 on the Bill- board 200 in 2016 and, as of pub- lishing date, is registered 2x platinum in the United States.
