MR. GEORGE RONALD BOGAN
Homegoing celebration serv- ice for Mr. George Ronald Bogan who passed away March 2, 2017, in Polk County, will be held at graveside Saturday, March 11, 2017 at 11:30 a. m. at Rest Haven Memorial Park, 4615 E Hanna Ave., Tampa 33610.
Mr. George Ronald “Sassy- Bo” Bogan was born to the par- ents of the late James Bogan, Sr. and Emma L. McNish Bogan- Williams on November 4, 1956 in Tampa. He attended the Public Schools of Hillsborough County. He worked odd jobs at ware- houses and did car detailing.
He is preceded in death by: parents, James Bogan, Sr. and Emma L. McNish Boga-Williams; grandparents, Benjamin and Queen McNish; sibilings, Joseph, Russell, and Willie Bogan, Hazel (Leath), Gloria and Gearldine Bogan, Gloria A. Bogan.
He leaves to cherish his mem- ories: his sons, Bandi Boggs (mother, Sheila Boggs), and Ronald Latson (mother, Manette Latson); siblings: a very devoted sister, Evangelist Bettie A. MR. OTIS C. ALLEN, SR.
A homegoing celebration for Mr. Otis C. Allen, Sr. of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Wednesday, March 1, 2017, will be held Saturday, March 11th, 11 a. m. at St. John Progressive M. B. Church, 2504 E. Chipco St., Rev. Dr. Bartholomew Banks, Sr., pastor, officiating. The inter- ment will be in Rest Haven Me- morial Park Cemetery.
Otis was born March 6, 1934 in Waynesboro, Georgia and a longtime resident of Tampa. He was a member of St. John Pro- gressive M. B. Church, where he served as an usher and was on the mission committee. Otis loved reading his Bible and pray- ing for others’ well-being. He was the patriarch of the Corker Allen family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James, Sr. and Sadie Allen; son, Graddy Allen; daugh- ter, Theresa Knight; brothers, Charles, Billy, Robert and James, Jr. Allen and Elijah Lott.

Mrs. Doris Ruth Brown Turner was born September 30, 1926 to the late John Henry and Eddie Mae Robinson. Doris en- joyed shopping at the flea mar- ket and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Booker T. Turner; daughter, Thelma Brown; sis- ters, Noris Myles and Cleo Davis.
She leaves to cherish her pre- cious memories with: her chil- dren, Bernice Pugh, Shirley Turner, Cynthia Turner- Williams, Booker W. Celebration of life for Brother Robert Lewis, Jr. who passed away on February 28, 2017 will be held March 11, 2017 at 2 p. m. at College Hill Church Of God In Christ, 6414 North 30th Street, Tampa, FL 33610, Superintendent Charles Davis Pastor, Elder Robert Sturgis, of- ficiating. The committal will be made at the church
Mr. Robert Lewis, Jr. loved all of his family and those who know him, knew he had a pas- sion and love for playing music. Robert Lewis received the Holy Ghost at the age of 16, and started playing gospel music for the Gospel Tornadoes in the late 50’s. He was a legendary musi- cian who was well known throughout the Tampa Bay Area. He was very gifted at playing several instruments. He worked at Jack’s Cookies Company, SealTest, and the University of South Florida and retired after 23 years as a maintenance tech- nician.
He was preceded in death by: siblings, William Lewis, Joseph Lewis, Earnest Lewis, John “Dee” Lewis, Samuel Lewis, Au- thor James Lewis, and Ellarene Lewis.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving wife, Glo- retha Watson Lewis of 53 years; 9 children, Cassandra Lewis, Winetta Reece (Kenneth), Rob- bie Lewis, Morris Lewis (Wendy), Mariam Adams (Gary), Terry Lewis (Violet), Reggie Lewis, Robert A. Lewis, Veronica Lewis; and stepson, Zaven Watson; siblings, Annie Laura Lewis Vaughn, and Verna Lewis Jordan (Edward). He also leaves behind: 45 grandchil- dren; a host of nieces and nephews in particular, Twanya, Muriel, Renee, and E. J.; cousin, Rosanna McCullough, and brothers/sisters-in-law from Avon Park, FL.
