RAY WILLIAMS
MS. CAROLYN RENEE BARBER
The homegoing celebration for Ms. Carolyn Renee Barber will be held on Saturday, March 11,2017at2p.m.atNewMount Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 2511 E. Columbus Dr., Tampa, Florida 33605 with Reverend Larry L. Roundtree, II, Pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in the Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Ms. Barber passed away Thursday, March 2, 2017.
Carolyn Renee Barber was born on April 30, 1957 in Tampa, to the late Henry Barber and Bessie Mae Allen Barber. She is the younger daughter of three girls, one sister, Hannah pre- ceded her in death.
Carolyn attended and re- ceived her education in the Florida School System. She re- tired from the Florida Depart- ment of Children and Families after 30+ years.
Carolyn accepted Christ and joined Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church and later changed her membership to New Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church where she served until God called her home.
Carolyn Renee Barber leaves precious lifetime memories to be cherished by: her two daugh- ters, Shameka Barber and Timeka Barber; 1 son, Javon Cogman; 1 sister, Antonia B. Barber; 10 grandchildren, Cor- nelius Floyd, Jr., Cadedra Bar- ber, Cadarious Barber, Javarise Barber, Miala Hunter, Javan Cogmon, Jr., Carolyn R. Barber, Malasia Jones, Ja’quorey Cog- mon and Javeon Cogmon; one great grandchild, Davarius Gar- land; nephews, Damien L. Bar- ber and Kevin Glenn; nieces, Bianca Berry and Belinthia Berry; great niece, Dekierra P. Barber; great nephews, Mar- quise Barber and Dequon Bar- ber; her uncle, Jessie Lee Allen; godsisters, Annie Nichols, Slyvia Adama, Joy Munn, Sharon Jones and Tonya Brown; god- daughters, Tamara Burgess and Davia Wesley and a host of other relatives and friends.
The visitation will begin at 5 p. m. Friday, March 10, 2017 at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, with the family present.

MR. MARCUS LAMAR EASTERLING
Funeral service for Mr. Marcus Lamar Easterling of Brooksville, Florida who passed away on March 3, 2017 will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at 2 p. m. at Wil- son Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, FL with Rev. W. D. Sims officiating.
Mr. Easterling leaves to mourn and cherish memories of him with: his mother, Anna Louise Easterling; father, Cur- tis Stevenson; son, Jayceon Easterling, III; daughter, Sa’miza Easterling; brothers, Randy Easterling and Curtis Easterling of Hartford, CT; sis- ter, Tamikia Easterling of Hart- ford, CT; aunts, Merle Thomas, Ethel Peterson, Peggy Easter- ling, Patricia Ward and Venus Elder; uncles, Joe Easterling and Tyrone Easterling; a host of other relatives and friends, including special friend, Paquira Bryant.
Mr. Marcus Lamar Easter- ling was born on July 16, 1985, in Hartford, CT to the parent- age of Curtis Stevenson and Anna Louise Easterling. He at- tended school in North Car- olina and after finishing school he moved to Tampa, Florida with his family. Mr. Easterling held several jobs at USF and the United States Postal Serv- ice.
There will be a viewing on Friday, March 10, 2017 from 5- 8 p. m. at Wilson Funeral Home. Friends are asked to as- semble at the funeral home at approximately 1:45 p. m. for the service.

DR. RAYFIELD MURPHY MCGHEE, SR.
Dr. Rayfield Murphy McGhee, Sr. of Brandon, passed away Wednesday, March 1, 2017. Funeral services will be con- ducted Saturday, March 11, at 11 a. m. at Mt. Tabor Missionary Baptist Church, 2606 West Grace Street, with Reverend T. D. Leonard, Pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
Dr. Rayfield Murphy McGhee, Sr. was a native of Tal- lahassee, (Crescent City), Florida, and a resident of Tampa for 26 years. He attended Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University, where he received the Bachelor of Science degree in Premedical Studies, with dis- tinction, in August, 1947. In June, 1954, he entered the Grad- uate School of Florida A&M Uni- versity in Educational Administration. He received the Master of Education degree in August, 1957. He entered the Graduate School of the Univer- sity of Florida in Educational Ad- ministration. He received the Doctorate of Education Degree (D.Ed) in December, 1973.
He worked as an educator and a school administrator in Alachua County, Florida for 42 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ellis McGhee, Sr. and Samantha Flemming McGhee; and his wife, Annie Alexander McGhee; son, Vincent Pierre McGhee, Sr.; grandson, Vincent Pierre McGhee, Jr.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his son, Rayfield M. McGhee, Jr.; his beloved grand- daughter, Morgan McGhee; his daughters-in-law, Gail McGhee and Garrian McGhee; his brother, Sam McGhee (Ever- lene); his sister, Peggy Brennon (Willie), brother-in-law, Dennis (Francis) Alexander; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The remains will repose after 5 p. m. Friday, March 10, 2017, at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue and the fam- ily will receive friends from 6 to 7 p. m. at the chapel.

MS. VERDELL BOOTH MURRAY
Ms. Verdell Booth Murray, af- fectionately known as “Mickey,” of Tampa passed away Wednes- day, March 1, 2017. Funeral serv- ices will be conducted Saturday, March11at11a.m.atRay Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, with Rev- erend Prentiss Davis, officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Ms. Verdell Booth Murray was a native of Apalachicola, Florida, born to Mr. Bobby Scott and Eva Taylor. She was a resi- dent of Tampa for more than 50 years and attended the public schools of Hillsborough County, graduating from Middleton High School. Verdell furthered her ed- ucation at Hillsborough Commu- nity College.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Lincoln Gar- dens, where she served dutifully until her health failed. Verdell was a loving mother and grand- mother. She enjoyed cooking, working with youth and spending time with her family and friends.
For 37 years, she was em- ployed as community service spe- cialist and teacher aide with the Neighborhood Service Center and the Hillsborough County School System.
Preceding her in death was her first husband, Joel F. Weaver I, and her second husband, James H. Murray, Jr.
She leaves to cherish her lov- ing memories: six children, Bruce R. Lang (Angie), Mia C. Weaver-Achebe, Joel F. Weaver, II, Franklin Murray (Vivian), Rudolph Murray (Denise) and Janice Davis; numerous grand- children; four sisters, Josephine, Lita, Robin and Gina; 2 uncles, Eugene Booth and Chi Chi; 2 aunts, Gladys Green and Bernice Boudreaux; niece, Jennie El- dridge; cousins, Sharon Taylor, Adrienne Jackson, Dennis Green; special son-in-law, Pren- tiss Davis; and a host of other sorrowing relatives and friends.
The visitation will be held Fri- day, March 10, beginning at 5 p. m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home.

MR. HOWARD D. WILLIAMS
Mr. Howard D. Williams of Tampa, transitioned Satur- day, March 4, 2017. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, March 11 at 11 a. m. at True Life Community Wor- ship Center, 7402 N. 56th Street, Build. 600, with Pastor Calvin Green, officiating. In- terment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.
Brother Williams was a native of West Tampa and a lifelong resident of Tampa. He graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School, Class of 1988. Mr. Williams was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He was em- ployed as a Gas Locator at Tampa Electric/Peoples Gas and was the proud business owner of “Howard’s New Wave Auto Detailing.”
Mr. Williams was a mem- ber of True Life Community Worship Center.
He was preceded in death by: his loving parents, Deacon Louis and Beverly Williams; grandfather, Henry Williams; grandmothers, Ana Williams and Ernestine Mobley; uncle, Leon Williams; and aunts, Michelle Mobley and Jean Hankins.
He leaves to cherish his memory: wife, Ursula Williams; daughter, Amber Williams (fiancé Robert); son, Howard Williams, Jr.; step- daughters, Jazmine Council and Zhariya Brown; step- sons, Rakeem Norton (Keemo) and Akilies Johns (AJ); grandchildren, Aaniyah Jackson and Sidney Jackson; 4 sisters, Tammy Williams (fi- ancé Devario), Bridget Williams, Sandra Cochran and husband, Ronald, and An- gelina Smith and husband, Charles; nieces and nephews, Karee Pitts, Jaela Acosta, Em- manuel Cochran, Zuriel Cochran and Kelyce Williams; uncles, George Green, Sr., Curtis Williams, Clarence Smith, Frederick Mobley and Chester Copeland; aunts, Jacqueline Williams, Georgia Stringfield (Arthur) Elaine Copeland, Amelia Copeland, Velma White and Diane Smith; a devoted mother-in- law, Ethel (Pat) Davis, and a host of cousins, other rela- tives and friends.
