Of Lithia Man
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office responded to a traffic accident early Monday.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, shortly after 6 a.m., three vehicles were involved in the accident that took place on Lithia Pinecrest Road.
All of the residents in- volved in the fatal accident lived in Lithia. Aaron Kent, 22, was operating a 2001 Chevrolet S10 eastbound on Lithia Pinecrest Road. Nicholas Andrlik, 20, was driving a 2000 Dodge Ram westbound on the same road. Mark Brady, 57, was driv- ing a 2009 Honda Civic.
Kent reportedly at- tempted to make a left turn into a Marathon Gas Station at 11211 Lithia Pinecrest Road and turned into the path of Andrlik, causing the two trucks to collide head on.
Upon impact, Andrlik’s truck landed in a ditch. Kent’s truck rotated, crossed the street, and struck Brady’s vehicle, which was traveling in the eastbound lane.
Kent died at the scene. Brady was transported to South Florida Baptist Hospi- tal by a family member. An- drlik was transported to Lakeland Regional Hospital with serious injuries. The in- vestigation into the accident is continuing.
