37-34 Win Over Bucs
From Buccaneers
JAMEIS WINSTON
Jessie Bates returned Jameis Winston's fourth in- terception for a touchdown Sunday, and Randy Bullock kicked a 44-yard field goal on the final play that sent the Cincinnati Bengals to a 37-34 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who now have a question at quarterback.
Winston was benched after matching his career high with four interceptions. Ryan Fitzpatrick rallied the Bucca- neers (3-4) to a 34-34 tie with a pair of touchdown passes, in- cluding his 18-yard toss with 1:05 left.
Tampa Bay has allowed at least 30 points in five games and changed defensive coordi- nators two weeks ago. This time, Winston was the Bucs' biggest problem.
He threw four intercep- tions for the third time in his career, including one directly to Bates that the safety re- turned for Cincinnati's fourth defensive touchdown of the season. Winston went to the bench, and Ryan Fitzpatrick pulled Tampa Bay even.
Fitzpatrick threw a 72- yard touchdown to Mike Evans, his fifth TD pass of at least 50 yards this season — most in the NFL. He also led an 88-yard drive to the tying score, hitting O.J. Howard for an 18-yard touchdown and completing another pass for the conversion.
Now, the Bucs have to de- cide which one will lead the NFL's top-ranked offense.
Winston opened the sea- son on a four-game suspen- sion for violating the NFL's personal conduct policy and has thrown for six touchdowns and 10 interceptions. Against the Bengals' depleted defense, Winston went 18 of 35 for 276 yards with four intercep- tions and five sacks.
Fitzpatrick finished 11 of 15 for 194 yards and a passer rating of 154.9.
Winston has thrown at least two interceptions in five straight games, tied for the most since 1990. His 13 inter- ceptions over that span are tied with Fitzpatrick for the most in a five-game stretch over the past five seasons.
Winston might be benched for the next game against the Carolina Panthers even though we just watched $28 million guaranteed Kurt Cousin just blow another game, or the washed up Eli Manning and Blake Bor- tles continue to struggle. Just different standards for differ- ent quarterbacks.
The trade deadline looms on Tuesday, and if DeSean Jackson has his way, he will be heavily in- volved in it.
The veteran
Pro Bowl re-
ceiver recently
requested a trade from the Bucs as Jackson hopes to find a team that can better make use of his talents. The team has re- fused to grant him that request.
Jackson got off to a hot start, with big-time chemistry with quarterback Ryan Fitz- patrick. He eclipsed the 100- yard mark in three of his first four games.
But that same chemistry has not been there with now-starter Jameis Winston. Off the field, they get along well. On the field, they haven't always clicked -- not how Jackson did with Fitzpatrick.
Jackson, 31, is making $11M this year and has an un- guaranteed $10M next year. That contract could be tradable.
Four Jacksonville Jaguars Involved In Incident
At London Club
Barry Church (pictured) and 3 other Jags revealed to be in- volved in London incident.
Four Jacksonville Jaguars players were involved in an in- cident at a London nightclub early Saturday morning result- ing in them being detained by police before being released.
The four players detained were safety Barry Church, safety Ronnie Harrison, cornerback D.J. Hayden and safety Jarrod Wilson.
The players reportedly went to a club on Friday night, were sent bottles of cham- pagne and other high-end liquors and ran up a huge bill. The players believed that the bottles were comped, but in- stead they were on their bill. When the bill arrived, the play- ers refused to pay it, believing that it was not what they owed. An argument ensued and local police made several arrests.

Simone Biles Dominates World
Gymnastics Championships
Despite Overnight Trip To The ER
Despite hospitalization for a kidney stone just a day before the world gymnastics championship in Doha, Si- mone Biles was dominant in qualifying, showing the world why she is the reigning Olympic champion.
Biles posted the top all- around score of 60.965 dur- ing the early portions of qualifying on Saturday, after she left the hospital without passing the kidney stone she has dubbed the “Doha pearl.”
Biles scored higher than anyone on the beam, vault and floor, and was second on uneven bars through five of 11 qualifying groups. Her performance also secured the USA’s place in the team final
SIMONE BILES
– which is more than 12 points higher than second- placed Japan at the halfway stage in qualifying.
From her hospital bed on Friday, Biles tweeted: “Nothing like a late night ER visit less than 24 hrs before world championships. This kidney stone can wait... doing it for my team!”
