Beginning in 2016, the youngsters began placing flags on the graves of soldiers at Memorial Park Cemetery, corner of N. 22nd Street and E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Blvd. This endeavor is an
annual event sponsored by the Woods & Wanton Chap- ter, Inc., of the Buffalo Sol- diers and veterans who attend First Baptist Church of College Hill.
After placing the flags on the graves prior to the re- spective ceremonies, the youngster return and help re-

Recently, in recognition of
their dedication and partici- pation, Frank Bell, Presi- dent of the Woods & Wanton Chapter, Inc., of the Buffalo Soldiers presented each troop with a $500 donation to help them meet their scouting goals.
The donations were ac- cepted by Scoutmaster Sharon Canty and Cubmaster Christine Cheshire.
Rev. Evan Burrows, Senior Pastor at First Baptist Church of College Hill thanked the organization for recognizing the scouts and their dedication.
