Restaurant Is First Business Slated To Open At Encore
BY IRIS B. HOLTON Sentinel City Editor
On Friday morning, there will be a ribbon-cut- ting ceremony to welcome the first business to En- core! And, while it is a “first” for the complex, it’s not a first for the owners, Robert and Michelle Faedo.
The couple will open the doors to Michelle Faedo’s Tampeno Cuisine, 1218 Ray Charles Blvd. The event will begin at 11:30 a.m. Mayor Bob Buck- horn is slated to make an appearance in support of
the new business.
It will be located on the
ground floor of The Ella at Encore!
With the perfect loca- tion, the restaurant prom- ises to treat its customers to special dishes such as their signature Cuban sandwiches and devil crabs.
When the doors open, it will become the first of many anticipated eateries, hotels, restaurants, retail- ers and businesses in the complex. Encore! was de- signed to offer a pedes- trian-friendly “answer to all needs” of the commu-
nity.
Other businesses are
slated to open in the future on the ground floors of res- idential buildings. Those businesses include a barber shop, an Early Childhood Education Center, and a Health & Wellness Facility.
For several years, Robert and Michelle Faedo operated a brick and mortar sandwich shop in East Tampa. They closed the business about five years ago and launched a food truck, Michelle Faedo On The Go!
