SENIOR ADULT MINISTRY HONORS OLDEST, ACTIVE MEMBER
The Senior Adult Ministry (SAM) of Allen Temple AME Church observed their 21st Anniversary on Sunday, May 29, 2016, dur- ing the 10 a. m. service. The highlight of the service was honoring its oldest, active member, Sister Voncile Dry. Sister Dry, seated center, is 109 years old and affectionately known as "Aunt Vonnie." She is a member of Mt. Sinai AME Zion Church. SAM’s mem- bers joining her at this service were: front row, left to right, Maxine Douglas, Voncile (Aunt Vonnie) Dry, Georgie Thomas, Pearl Coffee, and Mary Mitchell.
