Jameis Winston To
Seahawks Coach Pete Carroll A Fan Of Steph Curry's New Sneakers
Stephen Curry tying his new shoes.
The release of Stephen Curry's new sneakers created a buzz on the internet last week to the point that Curry had to defend them after the Golden State Warriors' win in Game 4.
But Curry has someone in his corner when it comes to the shoes: Seattle Seahawks coach Pete Carroll.
Fletcher Cox Gets Six-Year Extension With Eagles
FLETCHER COX Fletcher Cox has agreed
to terms on a six-year contract extension through 2022 with the Philadelphia Eagles, the team announced Monday.
The deal is worth $103 mil- lion with $63 million in guar- anteed money. That means the Pro Bowl defensive lineman will have the highest guaran- tee for a non-quarterback in NFL history.
Cox gets $36.299 fully guaranteed at signing.
Another $19.25 million in guarantees kicks in in March 2017, and another $7.75 mil- lion in guarantees kicks in in March of 2018.
LB Brandon Marshall, Broncos Agree To 4-Year, $32M Extension
Host Football Camp
Denver Broncos linebacker Brandon Marshall said all along he believed contract ne- gotiations would "work out," and they have, to the tune of a four-year, $32 million exten- sion.
Marshall walked out of the Broncos' suburban Denver complex shortly after Tues- day's practice with a wide smile on his face. The deal, which begins in 2017, includes a $10 million signing bonus, $15 million fully guaranteed and $20 million in potential guarantees overall.
Marshall will play the coming season under the amount of his restricted free-
Tampa Bay Buccaneer quarterback, Jameis Win- ston will wrap up the Bucs’ off-season with a three-day mandatory minicamp this week, but that doesn’t mean he’s putting the football down.
The Pro Bowl passer will host the Jameis Winston Pro Camp presented by Citi to be held on June 20-21 at Sunlake High School.
The camp is open to boys and girls of all skill levels in grades 1-8. Cost of the camp is $149. Citi card members re- ceive 20 percent off their camp tuition.
Participants will learn fun- damental football skills and have an opportunity to meet and interact with Winston. Each team will take a photo with Winston, and get an au- tograph.

JAMEIS WINSTON
a 4.97 at the NFL Scouting Combine, but ironically, the highlight of his rookie season last year came with his legs.
Winston showed that he’s not bothered by a little duress and that he can think quickly on his feet.
On one particular play, he was pressured heavily by de- fensive end Robert Ayers. He dropped back, began to scramble and was able to get the ball off quickly by check- ing down. Granted, a check- down isn't really worthy of a SportsCenter highlight, but getting rid of the ball quickly and learning when the big play just isn't there is just as important for a quarterback's development as hitting wide receiver Kenny Bell on a deep pass for a touchdown.
"The more comfortable I get with the offense, the more stuff they can give to me [and] the more stuff they can put in my hands to go out there and execute, Winston said.
He's also getting more comfortable diagnosing what's in front of him from defenses. He can trust his eyes more, even when facing a dif- ferent defense in practice this year versus last year, He saw more standard looks from Lovie Smith's defense, but they're mixing things up under new defensive coordi- nator Mike Smith.
"I always went by the motto at Florida State, 'See a little, see a lot. See a lot, see noth- ing.' I’m just paying attention to my keys and trying to go through the right progres- sion."

agent tender of $2.553 million. The Broncos had turned their attention to possible exten- sions for Marshall and wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders after Von Miller and his representatives turned down a six-year, $114.5 million contract last week.
Russell Wilson Pens Letter To Little Sister,
Anna, As She Graduates High School
More No-Huddle For
Back in April, Jordan Brenner wrote an excellent feature on Anna Wilson for ESPNW. A hoops star, she led her team to the 3A state cham- pionship and will attend Stan- ford next year.
Seattle Seahawks quarter- back Russell Wilson's younger sister, Anna, moved out west to Washington with their mom last year and at- tended Bellevue High as a sen- ior.
And as Anna graduates high school, Russell penned a letter to her for The Players' Tribune.
Below is an excerpt:
I always knew you had great things ahead of you, but I didn’t realize just how great until my second year in Seat- tle, when you came to town and we played one-on-one at the Bellevue Club gym.
You had grown a little taller. I could tell your crossover was a little quicker.
A More Comfortable Jameis Winston In 2016
Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Jameis Win- ston might be running the same offense that he did last year under new head coach Dirk Koetter but, in some respects, he looks like a differ- ent quarterback.
His command of the of- fense has improved. He’s cut- ting down on mistakes and taking better care of the foot- ball and it's showing in prac- tice.
“If you remember a year ago at this time, he was pro- bably throwing three or four interceptions every single day,” Koetter said after Tuesday’s practice, the first of a three-day mandatory mini- camp.
Winston's never been much of a mobile quarter- back, nor has he been known to have great feet when mov- ing around the pocket. He ran

But I mean, come on. I’m Big Bro. I’m a pro athlete. You’re 15.
I started the game going like, 75%. (We had a big Mon- day Night Football game com- ing up.)
And you smoked me. By the time it was 7–1, I was going all-out. But it wasn’t helping.
Next thing I know, you’re crossing me up, blowing by me, going straight to the bas- ket and I had to foul you.
I’ll never forget you scream- ing, "And-one! You can’t take me!"
Fans Petition To Name Street After Cam Newton
A fan petition would like to rename one of the streets lead- ing to Auburn’s campus. A name that surely will let oppo- nents and fans alike know ex- actly where they are headed.
Fans have started a MoveOn.org petition to re- name the street leading to the Auburn Regional Airport “Cam Newton Run” in honor of the Heisman and national championship-winning quar- terback.
“With exit 57 serving as a prominent gateway to Auburn fans, prospective students, op- ponents and the like, ‘Cam Newton Run’ recognizes one of Auburn’s most famous gradu- ates and athletes who has served as a prominent and ef- fective ambassador for Auburn both on and off the field,” the petition states. “This rename also serves as a way to depoliti-

cize what may be considered by many in this community to be a painful yet imminent name change .”
It takes a lot for a campus or government to name a street after a prominent figure. Newton, who is from College Park just south of Atlanta, cer- tainly should have a presence somewhere in the Auburn community with some type of permanent honor — perhaps reserved for after his playing days.
