Former Jacksonville Jaguars linebacker Telvin Smith has been arrested and charged with unlawful sexual activity with certain minors.
Smith was booked Wednesday at the Duval County Jail. Little else was known at that point.
Smith abruptly left the NFL at the age of 28 last year, citing a need to “get my world in order.” There had been no indication he planned to play in 2020, but this should com-

ANDY DALTON
Andy Dalton's run with the Bengals is over, as the vet- eran quarterback was released Thursday.
Dalton had been the Ben- gals' primary starter since they selected him in the second round of the 2011 draft.
Dalton, 32, led Cincinnati to the playoffs five times, though the Bengals lost in the wild-card round each time, and is the franchise's career leader in touchdown passes.
The move comes one week after the Bengals drafted for- mer LSUquarterback Joe Burrow with the top overall pick.
