RAY WILLIAMS
MR. ROBERT JAMES GAINES
Mr. Robert James Gaines of Tampa/Thonotosassa, FL, passed away Sunday, April 26, 2020. Due to the current re- strictions from the CDC, the graveside service will be closed to the public. A Graveside Serv- ice will be conducted Saturday, May 9, 2020, at 12 Noon at Pine Hill Cemetery, Inverness, FL 34452, with Reverend James Franklin, officiating. Interment will follow.
Mr. Robert Gaines, as he was affectionately known was a na- tive of Inverness, FL and a resi- dent of Tampa and Bartow for more than 60 years. He was ed- ucated in the public schools of Citrus County and was a gradu- ate of Booker T. Washington High School, Class of 1957. He inherited a passion for cooking from his mother. Robert retired as a Supervisor/Foreman in the Hi Rise Construction Industry and was a member of the Local 1207 Union.
He was preceded in death by: his father, Robert James Gaines; mother, Ernestine “Sweetie” Gibbs; uncles, A. G. Gibbs and Russell Gibbs; aunts, Oreatha King, Emma Gibbs, Gussie Lee Tims, and Lillie Anthony; and cousin, Elizabeth Grice.
He leaves to cherish his lov- ing memories: children, Joann Kohn, Derek Hunter, Roderick “Wayne” Thomas, Robin Rene, Tambra Gaines and Kimberly Gaines; grandchildren, Adriana Jenae, Cameron, Jaden, Ronald, De’Ajah, De’Aun, Kristian, Nicholas, Nyeliah; cousins, Her- man (Betty) King, Mary Grice, Shelly “Butch” Anthony, Lagrant Anthony, Lawrence Gibbs, A. G. Gibbs, III, Isaac Gibbs, and Yvonne Gibbs; great cousins, Yolanda, Nadine, Wanda, Ricky, Denise and Michael; special friends, Flossie Simpson, Ran- dolph (Geneva) Carter, James Franklin, Eddie Viverette, Jun- ior Chaney, Wanda Walden, De- John, John, Tiajuana, Charlene, Torre, Jearllisa, Dreama, Earl, Motrell Stillings, Ross and Wal- lace; and a host of other rela- tives and friends.
The remains will repose after 3 p. m., Friday, May 8, 2020, at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue. Due to the restrictions from the CDC, we are asking family and friends to pay their respects and follow the CDC guidelines.

Joseph was a loving and de- voted husband of 55 years to his loving wife, Maylinda King, who he leaves to treasure his precious memory along with: his children from oldest to youngest, Francina Ghee, Melvin and (Lena) Williams, Joevanna King- Berry and Joseph (Shiquitta) King of Tampa, Florida; his cher- ished grandchildren, April (Eric) Wells of Ruskin, Florida, Nathan Brown, Jr., Gene Reid, Melvin Williams, Jr., Melena Williams, Jacob Wilson, Mekhi Berry of Tampa, Florida, Jade King and Joseph King, III, of Wesley Chapel, Florida; Joseph’s surviv- ing siblings: Bertha (John) Bright, Medical Lake WA, Lois (John) Nelson, Sr., Monticello, FL, Adolphus (Ollie), Monticello, FL, Rev. Dan (Dorothy) King, Boydton, VA, George (Daisy), Monticello, FL, and Willie (Gwendolyn) King, Orlando, FL; Joseph was a devoted and loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, godfather to Ralph Jeudy, and Torrie Ingram, and friend to many. He will be greatly missed, but his love and memory will forever be cherished by his family, and a host of great- grandchildren, loving nieces, nephews, cousins, classmates, relatives, and friends.
The visitation will be held Saturday morning, May 9, 11 a. m. until service time (2 p. m.) at Springhill M. B. Church. We are asking family and friends to fol- low the CDC guidelines.

Ms. Juanita Yvonne Hol- loway, of Tampa Florida, passed away, Sunday, May 3, 2020. Fu- neral services will be conducted Saturday, May 9, at 2 p. m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Reverend James W. Favorite, officiating.
Due to the current restric- tions from the CDC, the funeral service will be closed to the pub- lic. Interment will be held in Bal- timore County, Maryland, at the Baltimore National Cemetery.
Ms. Juanita Yvonne Hol- loway was a native of Pleas- antville, New Jersey and graduated from Pleasantville High School. She was a resident of Tampa, Florida for ten years and was a faithful member of Beulah Baptist Institutional Church, where she served on Mother’s Board and Home Mis- sion.
Ms. Holloway retired as an Accountant Analyst from the Army Corp of Engineers.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her daughters, Debo- rah Holloway Hill and Cheryl Carpenter (Rev. Robert Carpen- ter); her son, Arthur David Hol- loway, Jr. (Tracy Holloway); nine (9) grandchildren, Michael War- ren Hill, Jr., Jasmine L. Bryant, Jaque’ A. Bryant, Marlonn A. Felder (Kyle Felder), Marlowe Hill Alexander (David Alexan- der), Arthur David Holloway III, Jayden A. Holloway, Jordan A. Holloway, and Mikayla K. Hol- loway; two great grandchildren, Noah Fleurissaint and Quinn W. Alexander; her sister, Betty Thomas; many nieces and nephews, her church family and a multitude of friends.

Mr. Joseph Allen King, Sr. of Tampa, passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2020. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, May 9, at 2 p. m. at Springhill Mis- sionary Baptist Church, 8119 E. Mr. Joseph Allen King, Sr. was a native of Monticello, Florida. He was educated in the public schools of Jefferson County School District and was a graduate of Howard Academy, where he was an avid football player. Joseph enlisted into the United States Navy. His seven brothers also served in the United States Military.
After his Military life, Joseph resided in Newark, New Jersey where he met and married his loving wife, Maylinda. Joseph and his family later relocated and became residents of Tampa, Florida. Joseph was a long-time

Ms. Annie Ruth Bell-Stubble- field of Tampa earned her wings and went home to be with the Lord on Friday, May 1, 2020. Ms. Annie Ruth Bell- Stubble- field was born to the late Elder Arthur and Mother Ruby Bell in Palmetto, Florida. Later, as a young girl, she relocated with her family to Tampa, Florida, gradu- ating from Don Thompson Sen- ior High School. She spent many years with her husband, Howard Stubblefield and family in Pitts- burgh, PA, prior to retiring back to her hometown in Tampa, Florida. Ms. Bell-Stubblefield was a member of College Hill Church of God in Christ, where her family has been dedicated servants for many years. She de- lighted all at various events and occasions singing, God’s love for us, with her sisters, “The Bell Sis- ters.”
She is preceded in death by: her parents, Elder Arthur and Mrs. Ruby Bell; her brothers, Arthur Bell, Jr. and Anthony Bell; her sisters, Martha Eliza- beth Riley, Patricia Pierce-Cole- man and Evangeline Bell.
She leaves to cherish her memory: a loving son and daugh- ter, Don and Donnalyn Stubble- field of Pittsburgh, PA; her surviving siblings, sister, Sharon Greene of Tampa, FL and brother, Dale L. Bell (Henrimae), Indialantic, FL. Ms. Annie Ruth Bell-Stubblefield also leaves a multitude of nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members and friends who loved and supported her. A special thank you to her niece, Ms. Anita Jordan and staff of Ruby’s Resi- dential Care and her nephew, Mr. Anthony “Tony” Bell for every- thing they did to support their Auntie, during her final days.
