Danny Green Speaks Out On How Lakers Can Stop Kawhi Leonard Sunday
DANNY GREEN AND KAHWI LEONARD
The battle of Los Angeles will take place on Sunday at 3:30 p.m. as the LA Clippers will host the Los Angeles Lak-
ers. Both teams will get an op- portunity to showcase their revamped rosters following the NBA trade deadline.
Recently, Lakers’ sharp- shooter Danny Green re- vealed how his team will try to stop superstar Kawhi Leonard.
“We all know what he can do. Try to limit him as much as possible to not let him get to his spots and get comfort- able in his rhythm. Do that and offensively make him work, put him in some screen- and-rolls out on the floor, space and have some good movement.”
Green does have some perspective on how Leonard plays since they were team- mates for eight seasons. How- ever, Green and the Lakers have struggled to guard Leonard this season.
Leonard has played phe- nomenal against the Lakers this season averaging 32.5 points, 9.0 rebounds, and 5.0 assists in 34.7 minutes per game. The reigning Finals MVP is also shooting 55.3 per- cent from the field and 50 per- cent from three-point range against the Lakers this season.
Nonetheless, the Lakers are currently the first seed in the Western Conference with a record of 47-13.
However, the Clippers are only five games behind the Lakers, boasting a record of 42-19. The Clippers have been playing some of their best bas- ketball of the season lately, winning their past five games with a fully healthy roster.

A UCLA gymnast has gone viral for her incredible floor routine set to a mashup of Beyoncé's hits — and she even got a few celebrity shout outs following the jaw-drop- ping performance.
Nia Dennis wowed the judges with her Queen Bey- inspired routine when the UCLA Bruins faced off against the Utah Red Rocks on Sunday, which also hap- pened to be her milestone 21st birthday.
The accomplished gym- nast scored 9.975 on floor ex- ercise for her near-perfect performance that has since taken the internet by storm.
Nia started her routine by strutting across the floor — a move taken from the singer's famous backup dancers dur-
ing her 2018 Coachella per- formance.
When she wasn't jumping or flipping in the air during her powerful tumbling passes, she had the crowd going wild with her dance moves.
Nia was the picture of confidence during the power- ful routine, and UCLA Gym- nastics proudly took to Twitter last Thursday to share a video of it.
The college junior per- formed to a medley of orches- tral versions of Beyoncé’s songs, including 'Crazy in Love,' 'Ego,' and Destiny Child's 'Lose My Breath.'
In just one day, the video has racked up more than 3.5 million views, earning Nia plenty of new fans.

munity, rooted in the mutual mission to use technology, en- tertainment and innovation towards social advancement.
Five division world cham- pion Floyd Mayweather be- lieves that he can train Deontay Wilder to victory in his upcoming trilogy fight with Tyson Fury.
Wilder has exercised his right to fight WBC heavy- weight champion Tyson Fury for the third time after losing the WBC title last month.
Wilder (42-1-1) was dropped twice and stopped by Fury (30-0-1) in the seventh round at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas. The first time around, they fought to a controversial twelve round split draw at Staples Center in Los Angeles.
At the moment, the fight is being targeted for the date of July 18th, also at the MGM Grand.
Mayweather was speak- ing at an event in Manchester, England over the weekend when he was asked straight-up -- "Do you think Wilder will win in a rematch with Fury?"
Mayweather responded - "If I train him! If I train him, I can teach him how to win!"
In the wake of Wilder's loss to Fury, Mayweather spoke out in Wilder's de- fense, after the boxer was catching heat for stating that his ring walk outfit was a con- tributing factor in the defeat.
"Win, lose or draw ... De- ontay is our brother that has accomplished many triumphs and as a community we should all uplift and support him throughout it all," May- weather stated. "No matter what, you're still a winner in my eyes, King!"
