Public Enemy Fires Flavor Flav After Bernie Sanders Cease And Desist Letter
FLAVOR FLAV AND BERNIE SANDERS
Netflix is hosting its first com- edy festival next month, and Dave Chappelle, Kevin Hart and David Letterman will all be there.
“Netflix is a Joke Fest” will run from April 27 to May 3 in Los Angeles, with Chappelle and Ali Wong tapped to head- line. The event will feature over 100 shows throughout 20 ven- ues around Hollywood, and some will air as specials on Net- flix.
“It’s our honor to transform

LA for one week into the funni- est place on earth,” said Netflix chief content officer Ted Sarandos. “This festival is a unique celebration of the art of comedy, and the role it plays in reflecting our lives and defining culture. It’s a chance for com- edy lovers to come together and see their favorite artists as well as discover new ones, and for us to be able to share the electric- ity and excitement of the festi- val in Los Angeles with Netflix members around the world.”
Hall of Fame Hip hop group Public Enemy announced on Sunday they are "moving for- ward" without Flavor Flav their founding member and hype man of nearly 40 years after the rapper sent a cease- and-desist letter to Bernie Sanders on Friday.
“Public Enemy and Public Enemy Radio will be moving forward without Flavor Flav,” the group said in a statement, according to Rolling Stone. “We thank him for his years of serv- ice and wish him well.”
“While Chuck is certainly free to express his political view as he sees fit, his voice alone does not speak for Public Enemy,” the letter obtained by Fox News said. “The planned performance will only be Chuck D of Public Enemy, it will not be a performance by Public Enemy. Those who truly know what Public
Enemy stands for know what time it is, there is no Public Enemy without Flavor Flav."
The letter added that "Sanders had promised to 'Fight the Power' with hip-hop icons Public Enemy, but this Rap Icon will not be performing at the Sanders rally."
Chuck D clarified on Twit- ter Sunday afternoon the last straw between the two was long ago, adding that "FLAV" re- fused to support Sankofa, a so- cial justice organization described to give voices to those in need and promote "peace & equality."
"It's not about BERNIE with Flav... he don’t know the differ- ence between Barry Sanders or Bernie Sanders he don’t know either," he said.
Flavor Flav had previously sued Chuck D and their man- agement firm in 2017 over un- paid profits, the paper said.
Lil Baby Explains Why He Doesn't Have Any Tattoos
Lil Baby revealed why he’s never gotten any tattoos in an interview with the New York Times. While answering a question about whether he foresaw rap as a career path, the Quality Control Music artist shared his reasoning for the lack of ink on his body.
“I never saw me being a rap- per,” he explained. “A big-dog dope boy, that’s it. Not even just a dope boy. That’s why I ain’t got no tattoos, because I always knew I was going to run my money up, and I was going

to have to go sit in front of some people to do something with my money. And I didn’t want them to look at me like a dope boy.”
He added, “I had to keep my appearance straight. I literally said, ‘When I sit down in front of these white folks, I don’t want to have no tattoos.’ In a way, it’s still that today. Be- cause when I’m sitting in these meetings, I don’t have tattoos on my face. I know they’d have to think something if I’ve got tattoos on my face.”
