Former Buc Carl
Tom Brady: Motivation At This Stage Is 'More About Proving It To Yourself'
Nassib Comes
Tom Brady famously be- came the 199th overall pick and seventh signal-caller se- lected in the 2000 NFL Draft. Those facts helped motivate the greatest quarterback of all time to seven Super Bowl championships.
As he heads toward his 44th birthday, Brady joined The Late Late Show with James Corden and said his motivation for continuing to grind forward in a game in which many of his teammates are half his age is more inter- nal than external at this point.
"It's hard to walk away from something that you still feel like you can do and you want to do," Brady said. "So it's not about proving it to others what you can do, it's more about proving it to your- self. And I still feel like even though I'll be 44 this year, I still have a chance to still prove it to myself that I can still do it at 44, because I re- ally worked to a point where I can still do it at this age."
To play armchair psychol- ogist, Brady's athlete-speak answer belies the truth that it's the external motivation that fueled the internal fire in the first place. After 20-plus years of shoveling "I'll prove them wrong" coals, it's dang near impossible to shut that
dan, Tom Brady takes everything extremely per- sonal.
During his appearance on HBO’s The Shop, Brady re- vealed that he was pretty pissed after a team said they weren’t interested in his serv- ices. Brady went on to say that he was going to “f**k up” that team and make them re- gret their decisions.
“One of the teams, and they weren’t interested at the very end,” “I was thinking: You’re sticking with that motherf****r?”
“Looking back, I’m think- ing ‘There’s no f*****g way I would’ve gone to that team. They said they didn’t want me! I know what that means! I know what that feels like! And I’m going to f**k you up because of that.”
There has been a lot of speculation as to which team Brady is talking about but we have strong belief that it’s ei- ther the Raiders or the Niners.
One can only wonder how badly that team is regretting not signing Brady now after he won the Super Bowl last season.

FRANK CLARK
Kansas City Chiefs defen- sive lineman Frank Clark was arrested on last Sunday night in Los Angeles on felony possession of a firearm.
Clark was driving in Los Angeles, Calif. and pulled over on a routine traffic stop. Police noticed an open duffle bag in his Lamborghini and saw it contained a firearm.
Clark was arrested and booked for felony illegal pos- session of a firearm. He was ar- rested a little after 9PM Sunday night and booked into jail by Los Angeles Police on Monday morning.
Clark was being held on $35,000 bail.

engine off. Brady viewing his goals as internal underscores how the fuel has permeated his entire character. It's not untrue that Brady's focus is more internal than external at this stage. It's only a fraction of reality -- a reality humans have an innate ability to com- partmentalize.
Following Brady's an- swer about why he continues to toil at his age, Corden asked TB12 how often he thinks about being the Great- est of All Time.
"I don't," Brady re- sponded.
"Really?" Corden said. "You never sit and think: At what I do, I'm the best?"
Tom Brady Says He Was Motivated To ‘F Up’ NFL Team After They Said They Didn’t Want Him
Just like Michael Jor-
Las Vegas Raiders defen- sive end and former Tampa Bay Buccaneer Carl Nassib made a big announcement on his Instagram page last week.

 Jameis Winston’s
Potential With The
New Orleans Saints
New Orleans Saints quar- terback Jameis Winston has been one of the NFL’s most fascinating players for several seasons now. Per- haps, not one of the best, but even the briefest look at his statistics is a fascinating ex- perience.
Unfortunately, we were deprived of the roller coaster ride that is Winston last season, as he sat on the bench for most of Drew Brees’ final campaign. Now he is back with a chance to win a starting role following Brees’ retirement. And the data shows that, with a few minor adjustments, Win- ston can be a star in New Or- leans.
Jameis Winston’s last season in Tampa Bay was truly unique.
Back in 2019, Winston had one of the most bizarre seasons in recent memory. He led the NFL with 5,109 passing yards and was sec- ond with 33 passing touch- downs while simultaneously throwing 30 interceptions, tied for the seventh-most in a season in NFL history.
I imagine it was frustrat- ing for Buccaneers fans and the Tampa bay organization, but it was incredible to watch from an outside perspective.
JAMEIS WINSTON
Interestingly, as bizarre as Winston’s statistics appear on the surface, the advanced metrics are arguably more riveting.
Despite his inconsistent play, Winston’s advanced metrics have always been ex- cellent.
It might be difficult to be- lieve, but Winston has been one of the best quarterbacks according to multiple ad- vanced metrics over the last five seasons. To illustrate this, let’s look at the Offen- sive Value Metric (OVM). The OVM is a grading system created by the (Bx) Move- ment to evaluate players based on how much they contributed to their offense.
Because Winston didn’t play in 2020, we need to look back at earlier seasons to ex- amine his performance. And he has a history of excellence on the metric.
