Serena Williams Spotted With Her Ring For The First Time After Her Engagement Announcement

Serena Williams and her fiancé, Alexis Ohanian, are celebrating their engagement properly!
The couple rang in the New Year in Auckland, New Zealand where they were photographed for the first time following their exciting engagement announce- ment last week.
They looked happy as they walked out of the airport, head- ing to board a helicopter. Ser- ena was smiling, looking chic in a floor-length grey jacket over a pair of cut-off shorts and tennis shoes. But the most ex- citing part of her ensemble was her engagement ring, which she gave us a first glimpse of while using her phone.
Lamar Odom Kicks Off 2017 With Photos Post Rehab

Lamar Odom wants 2017 to be a slam-dunk. To prepare for the New Year, he checked himself into a 30-day rehab program in December to ad- dress the demons that led to his near-fatal overdose in 2015. Though he was in rehab at midnight Saturday, he man- aged to spend some time with two of his children on Friday.
The 37-year-old athlete pub- lished a picture of himself pos- ing with 18-year-old daughter Destiny Odom and 14-year- old son Lamar Odom, Jr. on Instagram—his first update since the summer. "No better way to end 2016 than with my two favorite people," he said. "#TheOdoms RichSoil."
Prior to entering rehab, Lamar taped an episode of The Doctors, set to air some- time in January. While in treatment, the former NBA player's protracted divorce from 32-year-old E! reality star Khloe Kardashian was fi- nalized.

James, who ended 52 years of sports heartache by bring- ing Cleveland a championship and used his superstar plat- form to address social causes, was chosen as The Associated Press 2016 Male Athlete of the Year, an award he won previ- ously in 2013.
Results of the vote by 59 ed- itors from AP member news- papers and customers were announced last Tuesday.
James collected 24 first- place votes, beating out a pair of Olympic legends: Michael Phelps (16) and Usain Bolt

Alabama Opens As 7-Point Favorite Vs. Clemson In Title Game
Alabama is a seven-point favorite against Clemson in a College Football Playoff championship game rematch next Monday in Tampa, ac- cording to gambling odds website Pregame.com.
The defending national champion and top-ranked Crimson Tide beat No. 4 Washington 24-7 in the Peach Bowl semifinal game Satur- day. The third-ranked Tigers won in similar fashion later in the night, beating No. 2 Ohio State 31-0 in the Fiesta Bowl.
Alabama beat Clemson 45- 40 last year in the College Football Playoff final, win- ning a fourth national cham- pionship in a seven-year span under coach Nick Saban.
Dalvin Cook Declares For NFL Draft
A day after earning Orange Bowl MVP honors, Florida State junior running back Dalvin Cook formally an- nounced his decision to enter the 2017 NFL Draft.
And in what projects as a loaded 2017 running back class, Cook is the cream of the crop and the best prospect at his position.

Rondo Benched; Talks To G.M.
After he was benched for the entirety of Saturday night's 116-96 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks, Bulls point guard Rajon Rondo met with gen- eral manager Gar Forman to discuss his role on the team moving forward.
"Gar and I will talk," Rondo said after the game. "We're going to talk tonight and we'll go from there."
Rondo acknowledged that if the Bulls continue to keep him on the bench, he will speak to management about trying to find a new team.
