Mariah Carey ‘Lip Syncing’ On New Year’s Eve Show Hits Wall
Joseline Hernandez Gives Birth To First Child; Stevie J’s 6th
Joseline Hernandez and Stevie J are now parents of Bonnie Bella.
Joseline Hernandez has given birth to her first child, who is also Stevie J’s sixth child, and named the baby girl, Bonnie Bella. The “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” star took to Instagram Live to document the special moment and to express her excite- ment, and Stevie J posted on Twitter that his daughter was “beautiful.”
After months of slander, fights and back and forth the two found common ground when the baby came into the world on last Wednesday.
Joseline will have her own show documenting her preg- nancy and birth in 2017. Ste- vie J is flying solo in his own reality show boasting being ‘single and free’.
2 Men Killed Outside Meek Mill Concert
Meek Mill was finishing up his appearance when the shots were fired.
Police in the town of Wallingford — about 14 miles north of New Haven — said the concert appeared to be winding down when shots were fired outside the Oakdale Theater.
Police did not explicitly tie the shooting to the concert or Meek Mill, whose real name is Robert Williams.
The two males who sur- vived the shooting have non- life threatening injures and were transported to Hartford Hospital and Yale New Haven Hospital, Wallingford Police Lt. Cheryl Bradley told re- porters.
Lt. Bradley did not pro- vide any information about the deceased victims.
Meek Mill appeared at multiple parties in the tri- state area that night and Sat- urday (Dec. 31) appeared in Miami for a New Year’s Eve party at Dream.
Kordell Stewart Threatens To Sue Ex
Mariah Carey had a very embarrassing start to 2017 when her performance on America’s Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve 2017 show was hit with technical trou- bles.
The 46-year-old singer headlined the show in New York’s Times Square on Sat- urday night (December 31)), but it wasn’t one of her best shows.
She clearly lip-synced to her opening song, “Auld Lang Syne,” and she lost her way while singing her own hits “Emotions” and “We Be- long Together” thanks to backing tape issues.
Mariah Carey is known to lip-sync on most appear- ances. This time it went left due to technical difficulty.
“Well, Happy New Year! We can’t hear!” Mariah said, trying to make the best of a bad situation as she at- tempted to sing “Emotions.”
Kordell Stewart is threatening to lawyer up again! The former NFL’er has taken legal action, demand- ing that his ex-wife, Porsha Williams, not speak his name – especially in a nega- tive manner – in public.
As previously reported, a nude video leaked of Ko- rdell. He believes that Por- sha is responsible for the video actually leaking to the public. The Real Housewives of Atlanta reality star denied that she had anything to do with the leak, stating:
Kordell’s lawyers have sent a cease and desist de- manding that she refrain

from speaking about him, es- pecially in a negative manner, in public. They’ve also re- quested that she remove any social media posts that men- tion him. The reality star will face additional legal action, if she doesn’t follow their in- struction.

For Surprised Shoppers
For the holidays, Ken- tucky-raised crooner Bryson Tiller paid it for- ward to a few unsuspecting senior citizens in his home- town of Louisville when he bought their groceries last week.
Shoppers at Kroger and Pic Pac customers shared their stories, many delighted by Tillers’ act of kindness, as well as getting the chance to meet the Grammy-nomi- nated singer.
“He said, ‘Why don’t you fill up that whole basket?’” Kroger shopper Joann Samuels said. “I said, ‘What do you mean, fill up the whole basket?’ He said, ‘Fill it up and I’ll pay for it.’”
At Pic Pac, cashier Jaron Alexander said Tiller told

Talks: Sony To Redo ‘Good Times’ And ‘The Jeffersons’
When it comes to classic Black television, shows like Good Times and The Jeffer- sons are staples.
Gospel Singer Kim Burrell Calls Gay People ‘Perverted’
During a recent sermon, famed Gospel singer Kim Burrell spoke on “that per- verted homosexual spirit” at her Pentecostal church in Houston, TX. Needless to say, there has been plenty of back- lash, but Burrell refuses to apologize for her commen- tary.
Part of the sermon was up- loaded onto YouTube, and...you can’t really spin her views any other way—besides it being harshly homophobic.
That perverted homosexual spirit, is a spirit of delusion and confusion and it has de- ceived many men and women,” she said, to cheers from the crowd. “It has caused a stain on the body of Christ.”
Friday night (Dec. 30), Burrell took to Facebook Live to give her side, which doesn’t include an “I’m sorry.” She said only a portion of her sermon was posted and that she only spoke on S-I-N.
Ironically, this is the same Kim Burrell who sang on Frank Ocean’s album, and

According to the Jasmine- Brand, Pharrell Williams is not a fan of the recent com- ments that gospel artist Kim Burrell made about gay peo- ple. Responding to the contro- versy on Instagram, he wrote a message that is reportedly directed at Kim.
‘I condemn hate speech of any kind. There is no room in this world for any kind of prejudice. My greatest hope is for inclusion and love for all humanity in 2017 and be- yond.’
