MOTHER SHERRY DANIELS BOWERS
Homegoing Celebration for Mother Sherry Daniels Bowers, who passed away November 27, 2018, will be held Saturday, De- cember 8, 2018, 11 A. M. at The Church of the Apostles, Inc., 12055 N. Jackson Rd., Thonoto- sassa, FL 33502, with Bishop J. M. Carter, Sr., Pastor, Elder J. M. Carter, Jr., Asst. Pastor, Eulogist, and Elder Sandra Brown, Presid- ing. Interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mother Sherry Louis Daniels Bowers was born on February 3, 1950, in Nashville, Georgia. She attended the local schools in Berrien County, GA.
Mother Bowers moved to Tampa, and the late Elder Arthur and Mother Annie Underwood brought them to The Church of the Apostle, Inc., where she served faithfully under the late Bishop I. C. Mitchell, Founder.
Sherry was employed by Hills- borough County schools as a pre- school teacher.
Sister Bowers remained a loyal and faithful member of The Church of the Apostle, Inc. under the leadership of Bishop J. M. Carter, Sr., Pastor, where she was later appointed to the Mother Board. She also served as the Youth Sunday School teacher, and served many years on the Trustee Board. Mother Bowers was a faithful servant to God’s house. Even while on her sick bed she still remained a faithful ser- vant.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Willie

MS. MIRIAM WILSON ALLEN
Ms. Miriam (Wilson) Allen, a member of the promi- nent Wilson’s Funeral Home and family of Tampa, FL, en- tered in peaceful rest on No- vember 29, 2018, in Marietta, GA.
Miriam will repose from 5- 8 p. m. at Beulah Baptist Church on Thursday, Decem- ber 6, 2018.
Her life and legacy will be celebrated at 11 a. m. on Fri- day, December 7th at Beulah Baptist Church, 1006 West Cy- press Street, with the Rev. Dr. W. James Favorite as Host Pastor, and her nephew, Elder Claude Holmes, II, of Haines City, FL, as Eulogist.
Her earthly resting place will be the Wilson’s Family Plot at Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, Tampa.
Mrs. Allen is survived by: 3 children, Craig (Nina) Allen, Michael (Deidre) Allen and Dionne Allen (Anthony) Conolly; 7 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; siblings, Howard Wilson of Palm Coast, and Norma Pitts of Tampa; a nation of nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews; lov- ing sisters-in-law, Curtiss Wil- son, Tampa, Sharon Wilson, Dallas, TX, and Mozella Wil- son, Columbia, SC; cousins, other relatives and friends.
Services entrusted to Holmes Funeral Directors, Haines City, Florida.

Mother Bowers leaves to cherish her memories: her lov- ing, faithful, devoted, husband, Deacon John Bowers, Jr.; a lov- ing and devoted adoptive mother, Ms. Verlion Jordan; 4 sons: Al- fonso Camon, Aaron Camon, Sr. (Toynetta), Antonio Camon, Sr. (Latoya), John Henry Bowers, III, (Zambria); 2 daughters, Michelle Bowers and grand- daughter, Johnesha Bowers, whom she raised as a daughter; one sister, Gwenette Lokey (Larry); father-in-law, John Henry Bowers, Sr. (Aileen); 3 brothers-in- law, Samuel Bowers (Tish), Herbert Bowers, and Jonah Bowers; 4 sisters-in-law, Ann Dixon, Johnnie Mae Bowers Seward, Gwen Bowers of Mari- anna, FL, and Diane Bowers (Rudolph); special cousins (like sisters), Margaret Jackson and Tempest Jones (Jessie); special nieces, Debra Daniels, Trenna Jones, and Mary Colon (Elijah); and the entire Underwood Fam- ily and a host of grandchildren, great- grandchildren; 3 god- daughters, Sheila McClain, Karla Carter- Simmons, and Ti-k’ya Gadsen; 3 godsons, Karlton Carter, Odell Mount, and Chaz Dewitt (Nadine); extended fam- ily, Min. Naomi Carter (Bishop J. M. Visitation for Mother Sherry Louis Daniels Bowers will be held this Friday, Dec. 7, 2018, 5 p. m. until 8 p. m., at The Church of the Apostles, Inc., 12055 N. Jackson Rd., Thonotosassa, FL 33502
The family will receive friends at the Church. Friends are asked to assemble for the processional on Saturday, Dec. 8, 2018, at 10:45 a. m.

A Celebration of Life and Faithfulness in memory of Mrs. Deloris Irvin, who passed away on November 30, 2018, will be held Saturday, December 8, 2018, at 2 p. m., at Harmon Fu- neral Home, 5002 N. 40th Street, Tampa, FL 33610, with Rev Johnnie Miller, Pastor of Friendly M. B. Church, West Tampa, officiating. The commit- tal will be made at the Chapel.
Visitation for Mrs. Deloris Irvin will be held this Friday evening from 5 p. m. until 8 p. m. at Harmon Funeral Home.
Friends are asked to assem- ble for the Home going service at 1:45 p. m. Saturday.

Celebration of Life for Mother Emma Burns Shivers, who passed away November 24, 2018, will be held Saturday, De- cember 8, 2018, 11 A. M. at First Baptist Church of College Hill, 3838 N. 29th St., Tampa, FL 33610, with Rev. Dr. S. Evan Bur- rows, Senior Pastor; Pastor Rochester Jacobs, Eulogist. In- terment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mother Shivers was born March 16, 1926. She attended school in Natchez, AL. Mother Emma Burns Shivers was a member of Friendship M. B. Church of Carver City and Pil- grim Rest M. B. Church until she was no longer able to attend. She was a Foster Care Mom for many, many years.
She leaves to cherish memo- ries: one son, George Shivers, Jr. (Noretta); grandkids, Charnetta Troupe (Joe), Brigetta Shivers, George Shivers, III; great-grand- kids, Laregos (Pooh) Williams, Jayla Troupe, Joseph Troup (JoJo), Lauryn Rivera; brother- in-law, Pastor Roy Moreland, Senior Pastor Temple of Apostle; a host of nieces and nephews from Mississippi and Alabama; foster daughter, Renee Marshall; adopted daughter, Barbara Elamin and a host of grandkids; Gregory Johnson, foster son, and Otis Marchman, foster son.
