Man Faces Murder Charge In Fatal Stabbing

A 38-year-old man has been charged in a fatal stabbing. He was arrested early Tuesday.
According to the Tampa Po- lice Department, Jonathan Thomas Harvey and David Omar Caraballo, both 38- years-old, were at N. Franklin Street and E. Harrison Street when they became engaged in an altercation.
Police said the two men knew each other before the confrontation. However, they did not state the motive behind the confrontation.
As the argument escalated, the two men became engaged in a physical confrontation. At some point during the con- frontation, Harvey was stabbed several times. He was

transported to a local hospital, where he later died as a result of his injuries.
Caraballo was still at the scene when officers arrived at the scene shortly before 1 a.m.,
DAVID OMAR CARABALLO ... Charged with second- degree murder
Tuesday. He was taken into custody and charged with sec- ond-degree murder.
Caraballo is currently being held at the Hillsborough County Jail without bond.

Three Arrested For Damaging High School
Three Tampa teens have been arrested in connection with vandalism. The incident took place last month.

on the side of trash cans, con- crete walkways, windows, walls, pillars, and on the roof of the school. The suspects were observed on surveillance video walking around the campus. The damage was estimated at more than $1,000.
The investigation led detec- tives to three teenagers identi-
fied as Kevin Narvaez, Yon- jer Suarez, both 18, and 19- year-old Alexander Valladares. Each was ar- rested at his respective resi- dence.
All three were charged with burglary with damage over $1,000 and felony criminal mischief, $1,000 or more.
