Kanye West Victorious In $600,000 Yeezy Apparel Lawsuit
J. Cole's Dreamville And Pharrell's Something In The Water Festivals Postponed
‘The Last O.G.’ Renewed For Season 3; 2nd Season Must Watch Comedy On Netflix
As Kanye West's Yeezy label continues to expand and explore potentially mov- ing production to the United States, it's also cleaning up some pending legal issues.
According to documents obtained by The Blast, Japanese fabric company Toki Sen-I Co., has informed the court they are dismissing all claims against West and Yeezy in what had been an ongoing dispute over alleged unpaid dues for fabric. In the original lawsuit, Toki Sen-I Co. stated that it was owed $624,000 and storage fees

after not being compensated for roughly 53,500 yards of
fabric it had produced for Yeezy in June 2018.
West and his legal team responded by saying the “Plaintiff never delivered the allegedly contracted-for product, and Yeezy Apparel allegedly did not pay the full price for that undelivered product. Despite being a basic business dispute be- tween companies, Plaintiff needlessly inflates this case into a 4-count complaint under both tort and contract theories, baselessly including the celebrity member of Yeezy Apparel (West)."
   THE LAST OG
TBS has picked up a third season of comedy series The Last O.G., starring Tracy Morgan and Tiffany Had- dish.
Co-created and executive- produced by Oscar winner Jordan Peele, The Last O.G. launched as cable’s #1 new comedy in 2018 and the highest rated cable comedy debut since 2015. The show continues to be a ratings suc- cess in its second season, now ranking as cable’s #1 sit- com and reaching a multi- platform audience of 23 million viewers so far.
“The Last O.G. is very meaningful to me and I am blessed to get to work with my family for another sea- son,” said Morgan. “We are going to go to a whole other level this year. JUST WAIT.” Season two of The Last O.G. saw Morgan’s character Tray going all in on his dreams of becoming a chef,
and Tray’s ex-girlfriend Shay (Haddish) collabo- rating with an unlikely busi- ness partner. The show touches on every issue that deals with Blacks. It’s must watch TV on Netflix. You can't go wrong.
Morgan and Haddish will return for the third sea- son, as well as series regulars Ryan Gaul, Allen Mal- donado, Taylor Mosby and Dante Hoagland.
“We are so proud of The Last O.G.’s continued suc- cess,” said Brett Weitz, general manager of TBS and TNT. “This hilarious and heartfelt show has connected with fans and we couldn’t be more grateful for the big laughs that Tracy and the O.G. gang deliver each week.”
The second season of The Last O.G. was executive-pro- duced by Morgan and Peele for Monkeypaw Productions.
  J. Cole's Dreamville Festi- val has been postponed amid ongoing coronavirus-related concerns surrounding large public gatherings.
"While this decision has been extremely difficult to make, the safety of our fans, artists, and staff is always our top priority, and nothing will ever take precedence over your well-being," a festival rep said in a statement on Friday, noting that the new date is Aug. 29. "We now en-

The statement also notes that a lineup for the 2020 edition of the festival was originally slated to be an- nounced this week. That an- nouncement, however, is now expected “as early as next week” following re-con- firmations and other pre- sumed shufflings.
Megan Thee Stallion Wins Temporary Victory In Court Against 1501 Certified Entertainment
 Megan Thee Stallion
just got some good news in her legal battle against her label, 1501 Certified Enter- tainment. Early on in the process, the rapper got a tem- porary restraining order that allowed her to release music against the label's wishes, paving the way for her latest project Suga. The order, though, was set to expire on March 16. But on Friday, a Texas District Court judge ex- tended it.

Judge Robert K. Schaf- fer extended the restraining order until the case's next hearing on the issue. A date for that has not yet been set, but it will be within a week of a hearing on a separate con- cern, about whether the case should be settled by arbitra- tion rather than a judge. That hearing is scheduled for April 3. There is no indication as of press time that Megan will use this reprieve to release more music.
