 Black Leadership Network Scholarship Soiree
  The Black Leadership Net- work (BLN) at the University of South Florida held its Black Scholarship Soiree in late February on the campus of the University of South Florida.

The 2018-19 Scholars shown with Presidents Judy Genshaft, USF and Tonjua Williams, St. Petersburg College are: Frea’Drika Curry (Erica G. D. Daley Scholarship), Ashanti Jones (the BLN Founders’ Scholarship), Vladimir Leonard (Narain Family Scholarship), Essence Thomas (Hon Les Miller, Jr. and Hon. Gwen Miller Scholarship), Zoubeida Ben-Mohammed (BLN Founders’ Scholarship), Tiana Hill (Salley Family Inspiring Scholarship), Ellis Kelly (Bell Family Scholarship), Tonetho Lewis (Robert L. Greene, Jr. Memorial Scholarship), and Shaheim Ricketts (Frazier Family Scholarship). Scholarship were also presented to Medjine Abellard (Muir Family Scholarship), and De’Quan Wilson (Wayne Anthony Quin, Ph.D., Scholarship).
   Those in attendance were: Joshua Bent, Chloe Coney, Dewayne Mallory, Heddie Sumpter and Ed Narain.
 Kerrick and TJ Williams attended the event.
   Also in attendance: Deanna Butler, Mogen Davidsen, Stevonia Dixon and Aquaria Harrell.
  Commissioner Les Miller and his wife, Gwen Miller presented the “Honor- able Les Miller, Jr. and Hon. Gwen Miller Scholarship” to Essence Thomas.
