Tampa Bay Bucs Announce Pre-Season
Mike Evans Donates $10K
Tampa Bay Buccaneers star quarterback Jameis Winston recently had an opportunity to execute one of these great tasks as the Buc- caneers quarterback got the pleasure of delivering some great news to one deserving Florida State student.
Winston has been at Florida State working out and was able to participate in a moment the student will surely remember for the rest of his life.
Identified as Casey Jackson, the sophomore re- portedly knew he was getting
the scholarship. He just did- n’t know how it would come. Winston delivered the scholarship to the student.
Many fans of Winston get autographs but very few will ever have the type of ex- perience Jackson just did, as one of his favorite NFL players and fellow Seminole got to hand deliver poten- tially life changing news.
However, in this mo- ment, it’s equally important to take time and applaud the young leader for seizing the opportunity to influence oth- ers.

Philadelphia Eagles cor- nerback Daryl Worley was arrested Sunday morning after he was allegedly found passed out inside a vehicle blocking a highway, according to NFL Network.
The Eagles confirmed Worley's arrest and later Sunday announced that they had released Worley.
According to NFL Net- work, Worley was tased dur- ing the 6 a.m. arrest after he allegedly became combative toward police. A gun was found at the scene, according to the report, which added that the incident occurred near the Eagles' team facility.
Worley was traded to the Eagles by the Panthers in March in a deal that sent wide receiver Torrey Smith to Carolina.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans made a $10,000 donation to help a childhood friend who was shot outside a Houston gas station.
Devyn Holmes, who went to middle and high school with Evans, was broadcasting on Facebook Live with two other people in a parked car when authorities say he was accidentally shot in the head by a woman play- ing with a gun. He remains in stable condition, while the woman, Cassandra Damper, has been charged with aggravated assault with

Dak Prescott Says Released Dez Bryant Is 'A Hard Guy To Replace'
DAK PRESCOTT AND DEZ BRYANT
Linebacker James Har- rison, who turns 40 on May 4, has decided to retire from the NFL after 15 seasons.
In an Instagram post on his account that features photos of his children, he writes: "I've missed way too much for way too long...and I'm done. Many thanks to my family, coaches, the fans, and everyone who played a role in my football life."
Harrison, who signed with the New England Patri- ots on Dec. 26 after he was

Dallas Cowboys star quarterback Dak Prescott has exchanged text messages with Dez Bryant since the wide receiver's release from the franchise on Friday.
Cowboys owner and gen- eral manager Jerry Jones met with Bryant for roughly 20 minutes on Friday, as Jones made the move with- out offering Bryant a pay cut. The Cowboys saved $8.5
million against the salary cap by cutting Bryant, the franchise's all-time leader in touchdown receptions.
Prescott was at The Star working out with teammates when the news came that Bryant had been released.
"Dez is going to be a hard guy to replace," Prescott said. "He's a tal- ented guy, so he'll be missed."
New Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Preston Brown has a league-high $2 million workout bonus, which is tied to his participation in the team's offseason workout program that is set to kick off on Monday.
The $2 million is part of the one-year deal that Brown inked with the Ben- gals in March, which carries a maximum value of $5 mil- lion. It's a robust total for a workout bonus, as only one other player in the league, Eagles defensive tackle Haloti Ngata, has a bonus of this nature north of $1 million.
It also marks the second

straight year that a Bengals free-agent linebacker signing has the league's largest off- season workout bonus avail- able, as Kevin Minter -- who recently signed with the Jets after spending 2017 in Cincinnati -- had a $1.1 mil- lion workout bonus last year.
