Centre For Women Hosts ‘Waves Of Change’ Luncheon
The Centre For Women ‘Waves Of Change’ Women’s Leadership Luncheon was held on March 26, 2018, at the Armature Works. Fox 13’s Kelly Ring was the Mistress of Ceremonies.
This year’s event honored Ms. Clemmie C. Perry for her leadership to make change in the Tampa Bay Community. The inaugural Waves of Change award (2017) was presented to Tampa’s first female mayor, Sandra Freedman.
Ms. Perry started playing golf in 2013 and in 2014 founded Women of Color Golf (WOCG) and Girls on the Green Tee to make a difference in the lives of women and girls. (Photos by Frederick Harris)
