Watch Night Service
Non-Traditional Watch Night Service At Allen Temple AME Church
Watch Night at Allen Temple AME Church, Rev. Dr. Glenn Dames, Jr., pastor, was probably like none other in this community. The lively service kept those who at- tended on their feet. An added attraction for the evening was comedy from Christian comedian, Ms. āV.ā She included the audience in her skits, which made for a much more lively evening.
Close to midnight, Pastor Dames prayed the congregation into the New Year. (Photos by Lomax McIntyre)
