Throughout her acting ca- reer that’s lasted for more than 20 years, Nia Long has been sort of an obsession for promi- nent figures in the Hip Hop in- dustry. Not only is it her perpetual beauty, but her roles in iconic movies like Boyz n the Hood and Friday have so- lidified her spot in Hip Hop history and Black culture.
On Friday (December 13), the 49-year-old took to Insta- gram decked out in a crewneck plastered with Nas’ 2007 XXL cover, amassing several thou- sand likes a pop. Long posted not one or two, but three con- secutive photos rocking the sweater featuring the Illmatic legend.
“Still ill,” read the caption of one of the posts.
And of course, Nasty Nas himself took notice in the com- ments section. “U da illest!”

Kanye West and Jay-Z had a little reunion at Diddy’s 50th birthday party celebrations last night.
The two Watch The Throne rappers were spotted together taking photos, shak- ing hands and even briefly in- teracting at the event. The party was held on Saturday night at Diddy’s lavish Holmby Hills mansion in Los Angeles which was attended by the who’s who of the in- dustry including Kim Kar- dashian, Beyonce, Post Malone, the Jenner sisters, Pharrell, Quavo, The Weeknd and many more.
As we know by now, Jay and Kanye have not seen eye to eye in recent years, report- edly due to business clashes. It became clear to the public when Jay and Beyonce were visibly absent at Kanye & Kim’s wedding in 2014. The two did seem comfort-

able around each other at Diddy’s birthday party. In a video captured from the event, the two could be seen exchanging a few words as well.
Kanye recently addressed the latest situation with Hov in his interview with Zane Lowe, saying: “With Jay, I love all of these people, but
you got to know there’s a lin- eage of Jay to Ye to Drake. It’s like, this person is your idol. Then you get to know ’em, then you be friends, then you turn to frenemies, then you turn to enemies, and then you gotta bring back the positive energy. But that is the lineage of rap kings and inspirers.”

Russell Simmons Calls Out Oprah For Including Accuser In Documentary
Russell Simmons has appeared on The Oprah Win- frey Show five times over the years and as a result, the two moguls developed a “very close” relationship, as Sim- mons explains to HipHopDX.
So, when the news broke the illustrious talk show host was producing a documen- tary that focuses on sexual assault accuser Drew Dixon, it understandably blindsided the Def Jam Recordings co-founder. “I want to stay out of the mud,” he tells DX. “I love Oprah. I’m disappointed.”
On Friday (December 13), Simmons shared a photo of himself sitting with Oprah and questioned why she be- lieves there’s any truth to the allegations. At the same time, he admitted to being a “wom- anizer” back in the day.
“Dearest OPRAH, you
RUSSELL SIMMONS AND OPRAH
have been a shining light to my family and my commu- nity,” he began. “Contribut- ing so much to my life that I couldn’t list a fraction of it in this blog. I have given you the gift of meditation and the groundbreaking book ”THE POWER OF NOW “we bonded to say the least. This is why it’s so troubling that you choose me to single out in your recent documentary. “I have already admitted to
being a playboy more (appro- priately titled today ‘woman- izer’) sleeping with and putting myself in more com- promising situations than al- most any man I know. Not 8 or 14 thousand like Warren Beatty or Wilt Chamber- lain, but still an embarrass- ing number. So many that some could reinterpret or reimagine a different recol- lection of the same experi- ences.”
