Alicia Keys Drops A Short Film For Her 'Keys' Album
Cardi B Reportedly Canceled The Release Of Her Dolls
Last week, Alicia Keys re- leased her eighth album Keys complete with 26 songs for lis- teners to enjoy. The project also flaunted guest appearances from Pusha T, Lil Wayne, Swae Lee, Lucky Daye, Brandi Carlile, and Khalid. Now that people have been able to spend time with the project, Alicia Keys returns with a new short film to accompany the album. Clocking in just shy of 13 minutes, the film follows her ca- reer as a musician from her young days as a child to today as an undeniable star. Snoop Dogg, Swae Lee, Lucky Daye, and her husband and producer Swizz Beatz also make appearances in the film.
Keys arrives a little over a year after Alicia dropped her sev- enth album Alicia. Her eighth album is divided into two parts — side A, which features stripped-down music produced entirely by Keys herself, and side B, which leans towards a hip-hop-friendly sound thanks to production from Mike Will Made-It. Back in March, Cardi B an- nounced on Today that she planned to release a line of dolls. The rapper explained her inspi- ration for the line during her time on the show. “I have a 2- year-old, right? And I buy dolls every time I go to Target and they expensive,” she said. “Somebody came with this idea to me and I’m like, ‘That is great because I would love my daugh- ter to play with a doll that looks like me.’ I mean, all these other dolls look like me, I might as well make one for myself.”
Thanks to a collaboration with Real Women Are, a fashion doll brand, Cardi made the dolls available for pre-order shortly after her Today appearance. However, months later, buyers were still empty-handed, as the dolls were not shipped out de- spite promises to do so by a cer-

But according to TMZ, the en- tire line of dolls has now been canceled. A representative for Cardi tells the publication that
the dolls will not be released due to COVID-related manufactur- ing and shipping delays. TMZ adds that Cardi was reportedly also concerned that the dolls would not meet her high-quality standards.

Lil Durk and India Royale are ready to tie the knot.
The rapper proposed to his longtime girlfriend at 107.5 WGCI Big Jam 2021 concert in Chicago on Saturday night. He got down on one knee on the stage and showed India the ring.
“You know I love you to death,” he said. “You’ve been holding me down when I was going through a lot. You’re the realest and I just love you to death. Would you want to be my wife?”

Future is feeling himself. He's really tripping a billion times.
Days after Kanye West made a surprise appearance at the Atlanta native’s Rolling Loud California set, Future compared himself to Jay-Z. “In the streets im bigger then jigga. Ima run me a B up easy,” Fu- ture wrote.
The tweet was one amongst a series of messages, which began with him bragging about Ye’s performance, which seemed to be the impetus for the compari- son: “I’m the only one can get YE to pull up whenever wher-
