Anthony Davis Will Miss At Least Four Weeks With A Sprained MCL
ANTHONY DAVIS
The Los Angeles Lakers will not have the services of An- thony Davis for a while. Ac- cording to the team, Davis, who suffered a knee injury dur- ing L.A.’s blowout loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday evening, will miss at least the next four weeks after being diagnosed with a sprained MCL.
During the third quarter of the game, LeBron James was being checked by Jaden Mc- Daniels and passed the ball to Davis. He pushed off of Mc- Daniels before trying to cut to the rim, which sent Mc- Daniels flying backwards into Davis’ left leg. The All-NBA big man’s knee buckled, he went down in visible discom- fort, and he tried to make his way back to the locker room. But before he could get there, Davis collapsed in the tunnel and started holding his left knee.

In January, the Justice Department's Office of Legal Counsel concluded that when the pandemic emergency ends, BOP would be required to recall all prisoners placed in extended home confine- ment who are not otherwise eligible for home confine- ment.
