Let’s ‘Spring’ Together During The National Days Of Kindness
If you’re looking for a chance to do something nice and be recognized for it, then the National Days of Kind- ness (NDK) are just what the doctor ordered. This hap- pens at the beginning of every season as part of “For The Family’s” ongoing cele- bration of the positive called, ‘Kindness of the Heart.’ Of course, March 20th is the first day of spring.
It’s pretty easy to get in- volved. Just do a random act of kindness either on your own or with friends from March 17-30. It can be as simple as making people happy at a Senior Center, school, or hospital.
Or, you can be creatively kind. Everyone knows that the reward for brightening someone’s day is more than the effort it takes to do so.

This is the “Academy Awards of Kindness” where the best videos are honored just like movies get Oscars. It’s the culmination of Kind- ness of the Heart activities that take place from coast-to- coast in the U. S. and Canada.
Meanwhile, Family Flame Awards and $100 Gift Cards will also be presented for brief smartphone “selfie” videos that nominate deserv- ing parents, sisters, brothers, sons, daughters, volunteers, and First Responders. Praise and Gratitude, and Kindness to and From Animals are other award categories.
