Police Investigate Death Sketch Of Person Crime Stoppers Feature
Of Man In County Jail
Of Interest In Murder Case Released

A Tampa man died while incarcerated at the Hillsbor- ough County Jail. The man had been incarcerated since July.
The man has been identi- fied as Zarah LeAndrew Jackson, 62, of Tampa.
A spokesperson for the Hillsborough County Sher- iff’s Office said the death is currently under investiga- tion.
When contacted by the
Sentinel, Jackson’s brother, Larrie Jackson said, “All I know is that I loved my brother and now he is gone. We don’t know any- thing and no one is telling us anything. We just need clari- fication,” he said.

The Tampa Police Depart- ment has released a sketch of a person they would like to talk to in reference to a murder. The sketch was provided by wit- nesses in the area when the man’s body was found.
According to Tampa Police, the body of Dontae Lamp- kins, 25, was discovered in an alley bordered by E. Comanche Avenue, E. Mohawk Avenue, N. 9th Street and N. 11th Street on January 26th. He died of upper body trauma.
Witnesses provided a de- scription of a man who may be able to help with the investiga- tion. The man may have been at or near the location where the murder occurred. He was pos- sibly riding a bicycle, police said.
At the time his body was discovered, Lampkins was wearing a dark blue sweat suit. Police said they don’t believe the murder was random.
Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay is offering a reward of up to $3,000 for information leading to the identification and arrest of a suspect in the murder.

Police Seek Information On Suspects In Bank Skimmer Case
Ms. Briann Mor- gan Crowe, 25, is wanted in both Hillsborough County and Pasco County for 2 counts of grand theft of a motor vehicle.
Deondrae Reshard Ferguson, 26, is wanted for 2 counts of grand theft, 3 counts of dealing in stolen property, and 3 counts of providing false information to a pawnbroker.
John Adam Lentz, 51, is wanted by the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office for 4 counts of sexual assault by a subject 18 years of age or older, on a victim under 12 years of age.
Terrance Eugene Moore, 31, is wanted by the New Port Richey Police De- partment for felony battery and discharging of a firearm in public. The Pasco County Sheriff’s Office also has a
warrant for his arrest for fail- ure to appear on cocaine charges.
And, the Hillsborough Sheriff’s Office has a warrant for Curtis Leon Smith,Jr., 33, for robbery, possessing, receiving and retaining a stolen credit or debit card. He is also wanted for more than 2 counts of grand theft.

Investigators with the Tampa Police Department are currently attempting to identify two suspects who allegedly placed a skimmer on an ATM machine.
The machine was located at the GTE Federal Credit Union, 601 N. Ashley Drive in downtown Tampa.
The suspects are identi- fied as Hispanic or Indian men in their 30s.

Mistrial Declared In Murder Case Where Victim Shot 25 Times
For the second time, a jury has been unable to reach a verdict for a man accused of shooting another man 25 times.
Prosecutors and defense attorneys began picking a new trial date for Oscar Fowler.
Fowler’s first trial ended when a jury couldn’t reach a verdict after deliberating for several hours. Last Friday, Judge Chris Helinger granted the defense a mis- trial after Quinton Lawson said he met Fowler after he was released from prison. The judge ruled that Fowler’s past criminal history can’t be divulged during a trial.
Fowler was arrested and charged with the murder of Naykee Bostic. Bostic’s body was riddled with 25 gunshots at the time it was discovered. His body was

found July 28, 2013, behind a home on Beach Drive, SE in St. Petersburg.
Detectives linked the two men together through cell phone records that showed they had both been in the same area at the time of the murder.
Fowler’s first trial in 2015 ended when jurors could not reach a verdict after deliberating for several hours.
