AIKENS
MR. MORVILIX MONPI THOMPSON
A Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Morvilix Monpi Thomp- son, of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Sunday, Febru- ary 7, 2022, will be held on Sat- urday, February 19th, 10:00 a.m. at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church, 1203 N. Nebraska Ave, Father Dorville, officiating. The interment will be held at Rose Hill Memorial Park Cemetery.
He loved listening to music, helping his family and friends and socializing.
Morvilix was preceded in death by: his grandfathers, Leon Aristide and Alfred Thompson and grandmother, Macinette Victor.

MRS. ROESOLIA MOSLEY YOUNG
A Celebration of the Life of “a phenomenal woman,” Mrs. Roesolia Mosley Young, will be held on Saturday, February 19, 2022, at First Baptist Church of Progress Village, 8722 Progress Blvd., with Dr. Sam Maxwell, Senior Teaching Pastor, officiat- ing. Viewing will be 9 a. m. – 11 a. m., at the church prior to the service. Interment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Ave., Tampa, FL.
The service will be live streamed at www.fbcopv.org or YouTube.
Mrs. Roesolia Young earned her heavenly wings on February 1, 2022.
Mrs. Roesolia Mosley Young, affectionately known as “Mrs. Rose,” was born in Blakely, Georgia, on October 30, 1928. She was the second of 4 children born to the late Rufus and Mary Mosley. She was edu- cated in the public schools of Lake County, FL.
Mrs. Young accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior early in life at the age of 15. She moved from Lake County in 1949, where she joined New Salem Primitive Baptist Church. She remained active there until moving to the “New Community of Progress Village,” in February, 1960. She was an active member of First Baptist Church of Progress Vil- lage for over 55 years and served in several ministries.
A faithful servant of God, Mrs. Rose, served the congrega- tion of First Baptist as President
of the Choir, member of the Sen- ior Women’s Mission, Vice- President of the High Noon Prayer Band, and member of the Prayer Warriors.
Mrs. Rose received her Li- censed Practical Nursing Train- ing at Gibbs Jr. College, St. Petersburg, FL. She was also a licensed beautician, graduating from Sunlight Beauty School, Tampa, FL. She was one of the first Black nurses hired at Tampa General Hospital, where she worked for 10 years, and later retired from James A. Haley Veterans Administration Hospital.
At various times through the years, Mrs. Young served as President and Vice-President of the Progress Village Civic Coun- cil. She was also politically ac- tive. She was invited and attended the inauguration of both Governor Lawton Chiles and President William Clinton.
Mrs. Young was preceded in death by: her husband, George E. Young; brothers, Madison and Rufus Mosley; and her grandmother, Cora Mill Smith, who nurtured and taught her valuable lessons of life.
Mrs. Young leaves cherished memories with: her children, son, Herbert L. Mosley (Joan Holmes), and Harriett W. Mosley, both of Tampa; her sis- ter, Ossie L. Burkes (Lithia Springs, GA); sister-in-law, Es- tella Mosley, Tampa; nieces, Henrietta Culmer (George) of Lansing, MI, Marietta Hen- dricks (Rudy) of Huntingtown, MD, Annie Mott (Robert) of Fort Washington, MD, Pamela and Debra Mosley of Eustis, FL, Jan- ice Bryant of Tallahassee, FL, Deidra Lewis of Lakeland, FL, Henry Williams (Madelyn) of Glen Allen, VA, Malcolm Mosley of Wildwood, FL, and L. Trice Burkes, LTC, U. S. Army; 6 great nieces, 4 great nephews and a host of very devoted cousins; goddaughter, Sondra Brown; godsister, Katherine Clark; and other daughter, Liz McMillan; devoted neighbors, of 60+ years; and many, many loving and devoted friends.

MS. ROSA B. AUSTIN
A Celebration of the Life and Homegoing of Ms. Rosa B. Austin, who passed away on Feb- ruary 13, 2022, will be held Sat- urday, February 19, 2022, at 11 a. m., at Harmon Funeral Home, 5002 North 40th Street, Tampa, Florida 33610, Elder Leroy Ross officiating. Interment will be made in Rest Haven Memorial Park.
Rosa B. Austin was born on March 20, 1933 in Eastman, Georgia to the parents of Samuel and Bertha Bivins. She was the second oldest of all her siblings. Rosa was a faithful Christian and lived as such. She was a member of the Church of God and True Holiness.
Rosa B. Austin was called to Glory on Sunday, February 13, 2022. She was preceded in death by: her parents, and siblings, Darlene Green, Carl Bivins, Betty Floyd-Johnson and Joan King.
Mother Austin was the proud mother of one child who is left to cherish her memories: Hiram Wallace, Sr. (Bonnie), who was a devoted and loving caregiver until her demise. Grandchildren: Hiram Wallace, Jr., Terrell Wal- lace, Kareem Wallace, Rashad Wallace, Stacy Wallace (Rod- ney), Josh Wallace and Brenda Jasper (Shaka); sister, Mary J. Davis; aunt, Ruby D. Williams; great- grandchildren, a host of nephews, nieces, friends, rela- tives, friends and Church mem- bers who miss her dearly.
Friends and members of the family are asked to provide per- sonal face covering protection before entering the chapel. As- sembling begins at 10:30 a. m. on Saturday.

MR. OTIS BERNARD COOPER, SR.
Homegoing services for Otis Bernard Cooper, Sr., who passed away on February 6, 2022, will be held Saturday, February 19, 2022, at 11 a. m., at Travail And Triumph Ministries, 1509 East North Bay Street, Tampa, Florida, with the son of The late Mr. Otis Bernard Cooper, Senior, Apostle Otis B. Cooper Jr. pastor of Travail And Triumph Ministries officiating. In- terment will be made in Mayberry Cemetery on Bessie Dix Road in Seffner, Florida.
Otis graduated from high school in Waycross, Georgia. He pursued an academic path of the- ology as a personal goal. Otis worked as a truck driver for Her- itage Paper Company and Yellow Freight Trucking Company for many years.
He also possessed an entre- preneurial spirit, which led him to operate and own various busi- nesses.
Otis is preceded in death by: ten siblings.
Otis leaves to cherish his mem- ories: a loving sister, Dorothy Cooper-Edward; wife, Deborah Cooper; and his adult children: sons, Apostle Otis B. Cooper, Jr. (First-Lady, Minister Paulette Cooper) and Michael Lenton; daughters, Marilyn Young (Gig), Lawanda Cooper Merkison (Terrance), and Michelle Cooper; and treasured stepdaughter, Pamela Dixson; step-children, In- etta Stephens and Lance Stephens; grandchildren, (Otis) Inecia Gas- ton, Aman Baker-Coaper, Nevaeh Coaper, Ny’liah Cooper, Otis B. Cooper, 3d, Brenton Cooper, Sta- sia Coaper, (Marilyn) Gig D. Young, Geron D. Young, Jamal D. Young, Gemerita D. Young (Lawanda) Joseph N. Williams, IV, Jawawn D. Cooper, Rodrick B.
