Tax Collector Installs First Self-Service Kiosk In
 The State
Hillsborough County residents can now skip the lines and renew their vehicle registration at a self-service kiosk! The Hillsborough County Tax Collector's Of- fice is the first in the State of Florida to offer a self-service kiosk with easy-to-use touch screen prompts to renew ve- hicle registrations.
The kiosk allows cus- tomers to pay with cash or credit and get their vehicle registrations and decal in as little as two minutes without having to wait in line. In- structions and voice prompts in English or Span- ish make the kiosk as easy to use as an ATM.
There is no additional charge for cash transactions at the kiosk and a nominal 2.25 percent fee when pay- ing with credit or debit cards. The self-service kiosks are offered at the Tax Collector's Brandon, Drew Park and North Tampa branches - three of the busiest offices.
The new FL MVExpress Self-Service kiosks are lo- cated at the Tax Collector of- fices listed below: Brandon - 3030 N. Falkenburg Road, Tampa, FL 33619; Drew Park - 4100 W. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. Tampa, FL 33614; and North Tampa - 3011 Univer- sity Center Drive, Suite 150 Tampa, FL 33612.
Doug Belden, Tax Col- lector for Hillsborough County said, “Providing a self-service kiosk is just an- other innovative example of how we strive to provide ex- cellent customer service to the citizens of Hillsborough County.” Belden said.
The Tax Collector's office processes more registra- tions than any other trans- action, processing 640,000
registrations in branches in 2018.
