Quincy Jones Calls Elvis Presley ‘Racist,’ Says He ‘Wouldn’t Work With Him’

    Quincy Jones has never been one to shy away from speaking his mind.
In an exclusive interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the 88-year-old musician and producer recalled an exchange with Elvis Presley.
When asked if he had ever worked with the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll, Jones said, “No. I wouldn’t work with him.”
“I was writing for [orchestra leader] Tommy Dorsey, oh God, back then in the ’50s. And Elvis came in, and Tommy said, ‘I don’t want to play with him.’ He was a racist motherf— er. I’m going to shut up now,” Jones added.

   Drake Causes Twitter Meltdown After Posing In Intimate Photo With A Woman
Drake may continue to live as a forever bachelor, if his fans' wish is to be granted. Having been known as a noto- rious womanizer, the Canadian artist rarely exposes his love life, so any hint at his possible romantic relationship comes as a shock to his devotees.
Most recently, on Monday, May 25, a picture surfaced of Drizzy getting cozy with a woman. The raven beauty, who has been identified as the rap- per's stylist Luisa Duran, posted the intimate picture and several other images cap- turing her moments with her client on her Instagram page.

The first image stood out a little bit more than the others as it featured the "In My Feel- ings" hitmaker hugging Luisa from behind. He placed his hands on her hip while she stood in front of him and took their selfie.
Luisa shared the photos to congratulate Drake on his Artist of the Decade award from Billboard Music Awards. "Congratulations on artist of the decade," she wrote in the caption. Mentioning their pro- fessional relationship, she added, "It's been so amazing working with you these last 10 years."

 Chadwick Boseman was best known to audiences for his work onscreen, playing iconic figures like Jackie Robinson, James Brown, Thurgood Marshall and the Black Panther. But off- screen, he was known as a proud Howard Bison.
Howard University an- nounced Thursday that the newly re-established college of fine arts, led by Dean Phyli- cia Rashad, will be named the Chadwick A. Boseman Col- lege of Fine Arts in honor of

the late actor and distin- guished alumnus.
Boseman died in August 2020 at age 43, after he was di- agnosed with colon cancer.
In a statement celebrating the announcement, Bose- man’s family shared their gratitude for Howard Presi- dent Wayne A. I. Fredrick and the Board of Trustees for honoring their beloved Chad with the renaming of the insti- tution.
Boseman’s wife, Simone Ledward-Boseman, also shared her support for the move.
