Detectives Seek Information In Riverview Murder
The murder took place in the 10000 block of Zachary Circle Sunday night.
Detectives are currently in- vestigating a fatal shooting that took place in Riverview Sunday night. No arrests have been made in the case and the investigation is continuing.
According to the Hillsbor- ough County Sheriff’s Office, at approximately 11 p.m. on Sunday, May 30, a resident at an apartment complex noti- fied police after observing a vehicle crash into their vehicle in the 10000 block of Zackary Circle. The vehicle was in the parking lot of the apartment complex when the crash oc- curred.
When deputies arrived at the scene in Riverview, an adult male driver was found inside the vehicle with upper body trauma. The driver was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The detectives believe the victim was shot in the parking lot of the apartment complex. No arrests have been made as of yet.

Woman Charged With
Man Arrested In Riverwalk Shooting
Detectives have arrested a 20-year-old man in connec- tion with a shooting. The shooting took place on the Tampa Riverwalk and re- sulted in one person being shot in the hand.
Kareem Malik Her- nandez, Jr., has been charged with aggravated bat- tery with deadly weapon, car- rying concealed firearm.
According to the Tampa Police Department, after re- ceiving multiple tips from the community, detectives were able to develop additional leads and identify Hernan- dez as the person who shot a victim in the hand over the weekend.
The investigation revealed Hernandez and a group of friends were walking south on the Riverwalk when a verbal altercation took place with another group. After the two groups separated, Hernan- dez shot at the victim’s group, striking the victim in the hand. The victim sus- tained a non-life-threatening

injury and was treated at the hospital.
The shooting took place during the early morning hours of May 22nd.
Witnesses identified Her- nandez as the shooter. Dur- ing a post-Miranda interview, Hernandez also identified himself in the surveillance video.
Hernandez was charged with aggravated battery with deadly weapon and carrying concealed firearm. Hernan- dez was transported to Ori- ent Road Jail.

DUI, Leaving Scene
Of Fatal Accident
Last Thursday, at approx- imately 9:30 a. m, a woman was reportedly seated in the driver’s seat of a gray Honda Accord in the 10100 block of N. 11th Street. The white fe- male victim was standing outside of the vehicle.
Ms. Queenasia Powell
is alleged to have placed the vehicle in reverse and accel- erated backwards, striking and dragging the victim. Ms. Powell got out of the driver’s seat and pulled the victim from under the vehicle, not- ing she had serious injuries. Ms. Powell fled the scene without rendering aid, how- ever, officers arriving on- scene quickly apprehended her.
Through investigative leads, detectives were able to identify Ms. Powell as the

driver. Post-Miranda, Ms. Powell allegedly admitted to backing into the victim.
Ms. Powell was charged with DUI manslaughter, leav- ing the scene of a crash with death, driving without a valid driver license with death. She was taken to Orient Road Jail.
‘Person Of Interest’ Charged With Murder
A man has been arrested and charged in connection with a murder. He was listed as a “person of interest” by the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.
According to police, Chris- tian “Goldo” Rivera Pabon, 26, was located last Thursday.
Around 6 a. m, on May 23, 2021, a homicide occurred at the Residence Inn, 9719 Princess Palm Avenue, in Tampa. An adult male victim died from upper body trauma sustained at the location.
Through the course of an investigation, detectives be- lieved Rivera Pabon had in- formation related to this case. Rivera Pabon also had ac- tive warrants for violation of probation (possession of a firearm), violation of proba- tion (possession of a con- trolled substance), and grand theft motor vehicle.
Rivera Pabon has also been charged with first-de- gree murder while engaged in carjacking, carjacking with a firearm, and felon in posses-

sion of a firearm.
The investigation re-
vealed that Rivera Pabon allegedly got into a verbal dis- pute with a known adult male in the parking lot of the hotel. While attempting to steal the victim’s vehicle, Rivera Pabon reportedly fired shots at the victim. Ultimately, Rivera Pabon did not get away with the vehicle.
The victim and a friend drove to a Shell gas station at 10030 E. Adamo Drive, where deputies responded and located the deceased vic- tim.
