Police, Family Seek
Two Women Charged With Impersonating Police Officers

To Solve Murder
The Sarasota Police De- partment has arrested two women and charged them with impersonating a law en- forcement officer. They have also been charged with false imprisonment.

Officers responded to the
1200 block of 31st Street, in reference to a suspicious in- cident. The caller said they heard what they thought was an officer in distress. When officers arrived, they didn’t find anything. However, while searching the area, they found a vehicle attempt- ing to stop another vehicle

media, the video showed that the women claimed to be law enforcement officers and made threatening and derogatory statements to the driver and passengers of a vehicle.
In the video, the women were overheard to say, “dri- ver, exit the vehicle,” “put your f—- hands up driver,” “I need everyone to exit the f—- car,” “do not make a move,” “black lives don’t f—- mat- ter,” and “anybody move and I will shoot.”
The women, who were al- ready in jail on other charges, are now facing the new charges. Police said if anyone else had been pulled over by the two women to contact the Sarasota Police Department.
The family of a Tampa man and detectives are trying to solve the man’s murder. He was discovered deceased on Sunday, January 10th.
Tampa Police were dis- patched to the intersection of W. Gray Avenue and W. Os- borne Avenue. When they ar- rived, shortly before 4:30 p.m., the officers discovered the man was deceased.
Now, law enforcement and his family are asking the community to help solve the crime. The man has been identified as 54-year-old Vic- tor Jimenez. The photo- graph of Jimenez provided by the family shows him wearing the same clothes he was wearing at the time of his death.
Jimenez died as a result of upper body trauma and his death has been ruled as a murder.

The Tampa Police Depart- ment is currently searching for two burglary suspects. They are wanted in connection with the burglary of the Krispy Kreme Donut Shop on W. Kennedy Blvd.
According to police, the two men broke into the busi- ness and took both cash regis- ters. The registers were empty and the two fled the scene.

An 18-year-old Pasco County teenager has been charged in connection with a drive-by shooting. The inci- dent took place last Saturday.
According to the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office, Charmille Vincent, of Land O’ Lakes, is facing five counts of attempted murder and one count of firing a weapon from a vehicle. He was identified as the person who fired the weapon from a moving vehicle.
Detectives said Okeese Shuriah, 17, was identified as the driver of the vehicle. He was also taken into cus- tody in Hillsborough County. He is charged with five counts of attempted murder.

A 31-year-old middle school teacher has been ar- rested for having sex with a minor. He was taken into cus- tody on Sunday.
According to the Hillsbor- ough County Sheriff’s Office, Zeshaan Naqvi, of New York City, picked up the vic- tim at appr9oxiamtely 1:30 a.m., Saturday, at the victim’s home. They went to his motel room, and after a few hours, Naqvi took the victim back home.
Around 1 p.m., Naqvi once again picked the victim up and returned to the hotel, where they engaged in sexual acts.
Naqvi was arrested at the motel at 915 South Falken- burg Road, where he report- edly admitted that he knew the victim was underage. He

was charged with 7 counts of unlawful sexual activity with a minor; and traveling to meet a minor after using computer services and de- vices to solicit certain illegal acts.
Police did not release the sex or the age of the victim. The two met online three months ago.
