SISTER ANGELA “DIANE” MILLS
A Homegoing Graveside Cel- ebration for Sister Angela “Diane” Mills, who passed away on March 9, 2021, will be held on Saturday, March 27th, 2021, at 10 a.m. at Orange Hill Ceme- tery, 4900 E. Chelsea Street, Tampa, Florida, 33610, with Elder Delton Chambers, Offici- ating. Interment will follow.
Sister Angela Diane Mills was born November 26, 1960, in Tampa, FL to the late Jasper Earl and Mattie Delores Gaines Mills.
She graduated from Bran- don High School in 1978 and worked for Hillsborough County Circuit Court.
She was saved at an early age and was a faithful and devoted member of St. Paul Temple COGIC, under the late Elder H. L. Simpson.
She was presently a member of Full Gospel COGIC, under the late Elder Robert Douglas.
Diane was very personable, well-known, outgoing and car- ing. She always wore a smile on her face.
The word “no” didn’t seem to be in her vocabulary. She was a very loving mother, sister and friend. She devoted a lot of her time to Cutting Edge Learning Academy, where her youngest daughter, Tamya, attends. Diane loved to talk and always gave positive energy wherever she went. She was well-loved by everyone she encountered.
She leaves a legacy of love with family: including daugh- ters, Dayla and Tamya Mills; two brothers, Willie Grimlsey and Kenyatta Mills (wife, Lori); uncles, Emory Gaines (wife, Jean), Dave Gaines (wife, Betty), Barney Mills (wife, Gwen), Roy Mills (wife, Robin); aunts, Delores Bradley, Lottie Daniels, Annie Bell Mills, Min- nie Benson and Celestine Gaines; nephew, Lawrence Jones; niece, Kennedi Mills; godmother, Lonnie Young; god sisters and god brothers; loved ones in addition to a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other loved ones and cherished friends.
THERE WILL NO VIEWING. MASKS ARE REQURIED AT THE INTERMENT ON SATUR- DAY.

MR. SAMUEL SANDERS
Mr. Samuel Sanders, affec- tionately known as “Sam,” a wonderful man with a warm dis- position, transitioned peacefully from this life on Tuesday, March 9, 2021. Known for his impecca- ble dress and signature Stetsons, he welcomed everyone with open arms.
Sam was born in Quincy, Florida on January 7, 1926, but remained a resident of Tampa since the early 1950’s. He was a member of First Baptist Church of West Tampa, Rev. Dr. Rayford Harper, Pastor. Prior to joining First Baptist, he was a faithful member of New Bright & Morn- ing Star M. B. Church, Rev. T. L. Williams, Pastor.
He was a proud U. S. Marine and a true Tampa Bay Bucs fan. He loved listening to blues, watching western programs, laughing, and above all, having fun with his family.
He was preceded in death by: his wife, Willie Belle; daughter, Willie Mae Vanhorn, grandsons: Wayne Sanders, Jr. and William Hitchens.
He is survived by: his chil- dren: Juanita Green (Bernie), Sandra Wilson, Wayne Sanders, Reginald Sanders, Sr. (Sonya), Claudette Hitchens, and his son- in-law, Curtis Vanhorn.
He will be fondly remem- bered by his 14 grandchildren: Andrea (Jimmy), Tawndra (Marc), Marvette, Kesha (Reg- gie), Ramona, Erika, LaKisha, Angelo, Krista, Reginald, II, Nikki, Derra, Claudell, and Luis.
He took extreme pride in his great- grandchildren, among them are: Xochi, Khloe, Cole, Jayla, Justin, Christian, Camille, Cameron, Micah, Dillon, Johnny, and many more. In addition, a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends were dear to his heart.
He worked 30 years as a long- distance truck driver and later was employed as a custodian at Just Jr. High School, where he retired. His work ethic com- pelled him to obtain employment as a school crossing guard for Hillsborough County. He always had a smile as he waved at every- one earning him the honor of be- coming an “Unsung Hero”.
He touched the lives of many people with his gracious smile, generosity, and his trademark sense of humor all the way to the end.
FAMILY NOTICE
MRS. BARBARA JACKSON
On Thursday, March 18, 2021, God called Barbara Jack- son to enter the Heavenly Gar- den of peaceful rest and everlasting life. She was 79 years young.
Barbara was born on Janu- ary 13, 1942 to the late Jerry and Mamie Harvey and was the 15th child out of 16 children. Barbara grew up in Montezuma, Georgia, where her parents owned their own farm. While working on the farm with her siblings, she also attended Flint River Farm School and graduated from D. F. Douglas High School. She played basketball and had the honor of being crowned Queen of D. F. Douglas High School. She reigned from 1959-60.
Barbara eventually met the late Master Sergeant Maxwell C. Jackson (M. C.) of Sanford, Florida and married on March 24, 1963, in Rochester, New York. Now with her new role as a military wife, Barbara trav- eled the world as a military spouse and lived in Giessen, Germany, Fort Ord, California, Fort Lee, Virginia, and retired in Tampa, Florida. Barbara took pride in raising her two daughters and pushed them to continue their education and strive to be the best they could be.
Barbara and Maxwell were married for 42 years until his untimely death in 2007.
Barbara’s Celebration of Life Homegoing will be held on Saturday, March 27, 2021, at 11 a. m. at New Hope Baptist Church, 8620 Hwy. 26 East, Montezuma, GA 31063. Flow- ers can be sent to West Mortu- ary, 325 Drayton Street, Montezuma, GA 31063.

In loving memories of our beloved Mr. Alfred Alexander, 24, who was tragically killed at the TECO Plant on Big Bend Road 40 years ago, 3/28/1981.
Although it has been no mention, ever, when others have met their tragedy at the same plant, even with the re- cent deaths within the past 4 years. The pain of his death is forever present!
