Man Injured By
1 Woman Linked To Shootings Jailed; 2nd Woman Sought
Gunfire At Local
Detectives have identified three women linked to a shooting that took place last week. One woman has been arrested and a warrant has been issued for another woman. The third woman is being considered a witness.
They are linked to a shoot- ing that left four people in- jured last Sunday.
According to the Hillsbor- ough County Sheriff’s Office, around 11 p.m., on March 14th, deputies responded to the parking lot of SD Banquet Hall, 10101 E. ./Highway 92 in reference to someone being injured by gunfire.
When the deputies ar- rived, they discovered that four people had been shot. The four people were taken to a local hospital with all suf- fering from non-life threaten- ing injuries.
During the investigation that took place, detectives learned that a victim had been engaged in a verbal al- tercation with three unknown Black women that turned

A short time later, the
three women got into a white sedan. As the car passed by the victim, a passenger fired several shots from the vehi- cle, striking the victim and three others. The suspects then fled the scene west- bound on Highway 92.

weapon, and discharging a firearm from a vehicle.
The second woman being sought by police has been identified as Ms. Lakeisha Webb, 25, of Tampa. The name of the third woman has not been released.
The investigation is con- tinuing and the shooting re- mains an active investigation.

Detectives with the Hills- borough County Sheriff’s Of- fice are attempting to identify a man captured on video. He is believed to be linked to a shooting at a local night club.
According to police, around 3:40 a.m. Sunday, the victim was seated in his vehi- cle, outside the Sky Hookah Lounge, 7748 Hillsborough Avenue. A party was taking place at the location.
The victim told police the suspect approached him with a gun and shot at his vehicle.
The suspect then quickly fled the scene.
The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he was treated for non-life threat- ening gunshot injuries.
The suspect observed in the video is described as a white Hispanic man who was last seen wearing a red t-shirt, camouflage pants, and a man’s satchel. He is believed to have half-sleeve tattoo on his lower right arm.

Man Jailed For Kidnapping Infant Linked To Other Crimes

A 26-year-old man charged with kidnapping an infant last month is facing charges unre- lated to the kidnapping. An- other man was also arrested and faces charges not related to the kidnapping.
Detectives with the Hills- borough County Sheriff’s Of- fice were investigating several daytime burglaries. During the course of the investigation, a vhicle of interest was identified that led detectives to Rashad Mann and another man who was observed inside the vehi- cle.
As deputies conducted sur- veillance on the two men, they were reportedly observed bur- glarizing homes. Mann and 28-year-old Anthony Gask- ins were taken into custody and linked to at least six bur- glaries throughout Hillsbor- ough County.
The investigation of the burglaries linked Mann to the kidnapping of the child who was left sleeping in a vehicle. Mann is accused of jumping into the running car and driv-

ing away with the child inside. The abandoned vehicle was discovered a short distance away. It had been abandoned at a church. The child was still inside the vehicle and was not harmed.
Detectives collected DNA from Mann and sent it to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) to be compared to the DNA swabs that were collected from the stolen vehicle involved in the kidnapping.
On March 15, the DNA came back as a match.
Mann was charged with grand theft of an auto, kidnap-
ping, and child abuse. He is also facing several other charges.
He is also charged with 2 counts of burglary of an unoc- cupied dwelling; being a felon in possession of a firearm; criminal mischief; unlawful use of a two-way communica- tion device; 2 counts of bur- glary of an occupied dwelling; grand theft; grand theft of a firearm; armed burglary of a dwelling; 2 counts of grand theft; and felony petit theft.
Mann was arrested on March 3rd.
Anthony Darrell Gaskin, 28, was also arrested on March 3, 2021. He has been charged with 2 counts of bur- glary of an occupied dwelling; 2 counts of burglary of an un- occupied dwelling; criminal mischief; unlawful use of a two-way communication de- vice; 2 counts of grand theft of a firearm; 2 counts of armed burglary of dwelling;; dealing in stolen property; and giving false information on pawnbro- ker form.
