Man Arrested In Drive-By That Left 1 Dead, 3 Hurt
Police Identify
Man Found Dead In
Residential Area
Detectives have identified a man found dead last week. His death is being investi- gated as a murder.
According to the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office, the victim is 29-year-old Clif- ford Linton Coston, III, of St. Petersburg. Coston’s body was located shortly after 8 p.m., last Monday near the intersection of 45th Avenue, North and 39th Street, North. He suffered a fatal gunshot wound.
According to police, when deputies arrived, they ob- served a black sedan crashed into a fence. A man was found inside, suffering from a gunshot wound.
He was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
The murder investigation is continuing and police are

Shooting Leaves One Dead, One Injured
The shooting took place in Ruskin last Thursday morning in the 200 block of 8th Street, NE.
Detectives with the Hills- borough County Sheriff’s Of- fice are currently investigating a fatal shooting. The incident took place last Thursday in Ruskin.
According to police, deputies responded to the 200 block of 8th Street, NE, around 11 a.m. When they ar- rived, they discovered two men had been injured by gun- fire.
One of the men was pro- nounced deceased at the scene. The second man was transported to South Bay Hospital. He was then trans- ferred to Blake Medical Cen- ter, in Manatee County. His condition has not been re- leased.
Police have not released any additional information on the victims or the suspect. The investigating is continuing.
DERRIONTAE WARD ... Charged with first-degree murder
The Clearwater Police De- partment has arrested a man in connection with a fatal shooting. The incident left one man dead and three peo- ple injured. It occurred at 9:30 p.m., Monday, in the southbound lanes of the U. S. 19 Access Road just north of Drew Street.
Police said the suspect ve- hicle pulled beside the vic- tims’ vehicle and someone began shooting. More than a dozen shots were fired into the vehicle before the suspect vehicle fled the scene.

first-degree murder, and 3 counts of attempted first-de- gree murder. Police said nearly two dozen shots were fired during the shooting.
The victims were identi- fied as: Ivon Cobbs, 18, who died of his injuries after being flown to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tampa. Another occupant, Marshae Walton, 31, is in critical condition at Bayfront Health St. Petersburg.
Two others inside the car, Yvonne Sanders, 24, and Evers Maxie, also 24, were shot. Sanders is in serious condition, and Maxie is in stable condition at Bayfront.
Detectives were able to identify Ward as a suspect in
the murder. At the time of the shooting, Ward was out on bond from several other crim- inal charges, including aggra- vated assault with a firearm, grand theft auto, burglary, and leaving the scene of an accident with injury.
While out on bond, Ward was wearing a GPS-enabled ankle device. The device placed him at the same restaurant as the victims be- fore the shooting. It also placed him at the scene of the crime.
Police said after the shoot- ing, Ward is alleged to have cut off the GPS the day after the shooting. Ward has been arrested 37 times, police said.
Police Search For Witness In Shooting
The Tampa Police De- partment is hoping to make contact with a witness to a shooting. The shooting took place on February 24th, in the 900 block of S. 22nd Street.
The man is not a suspect in the shooting. He was cap- tured in a video during the time the shooting took place.
According to police, the shooting took place shortly after 6 p.m., on February 24th. After receiving reports of shots being fired, officers arrived to find an adult man suffering from gunshot wounds. The man, in his mid-40s, died as a result of his injuries.

were informed of a second Black man suffering from gunshot wounds who had been transported to a local hospital. The man, described as being in his 40s, suffering non-life threatening injuries.

tinuing as detectives attempt to determine what took place and led to the deadly shoot- ing.
