Educators’ Commitment To Continue Educating
Students Through National COVID-19 Pandemic
The Coronavirus hit the local cities, counties, the fifty states in the United States of America, and coun- tries throughout the world like a whirlwind storm.
On Friday, March 13th, The Florida Department of Education administration gave a directive to close down K-12 Public Schools to decrease the spread of the Coronavirus. This is a major understanding for all the: School district administration, district staff personnel, administrators of schools, educators, staff members, parents and students.
When the educators were given permission to re- turn to the schools to retrieve their work to prepare for the students return, I witnessed the 100% dedication of the educators in K-12 Public Schools. An educator’s work is never done, regrading grading class assign- ments, preparing academic curriculum standards and assessment tests for students; as they return to school is always a priority. Educators are second to none.
