 Rihanna Is RIAA’s Most Certified Artist For Digital Songs At 124 Million
 JAY-Z And His Mom Set-Up Scholarship Fund
 The Shawn Carter Foun- dation Scholarship provides financial support to high school students as well as un- dergraduate students enter- ing college for the first time. The purpose of the scholar- ship is to help under-served students who may not be eli- gible for other scholarships.
Students who have either graduated from high school or earned their G.E.D. may apply. Minimum grade point average is 2.0. Students must have a strong desire to go to college and earn their degree. Students must also have a de- sire to give back to their com- munities.

All high school seniors, un- dergraduate students at two- year or four-year institutions
and vocational or trade school students are eligible.
The deadline for this scholarship is on April 30th, and the award amount ranges from $1,500 – $2,500.
 According to the Recording Industry Association of Amer- ica (RIAA), Rihanna is the most certified artist for Digital Songs of all time.
The honor places Rihanna as the top artist in the history of the Digital Song chart with 124 million certified units. Taylor Swift follows with 108.5 mil- lion and Eminem with 107.5 million.
Last month, Rihanna earned the recognition of being the female artist to hit 2 billion streams at Apple Music.
Upon hearing the great news, Rihanna went on her Instagram page to thank the fans for helping her achieve such a prestigious honor.

  Love & Hip Hop NY’s, Sa- faree Samuels says that he was robbed at gunpoint in New Jersey early Monday.
The alleged incident oc- curred before Samuels, 36, sat down for an interview with Angie Martinez in New York.

The John Legend-pro- duced rock opera beat out an- other music-based program. ABC’s American Idol only brought in 7.4 million viewers and a 1.6 rating in the demo at 8-10 pm.

   M.A.C Cosmetics’ latest artist-inspired collaboration will take over your makeup looks next season. According to The Cut, Aaliyah’s capsule will finally be available for purchase on the world wide web and at retail locations on June 20 and June 21, respec- tively.
